MEETING THE THIRD DAUGHTER OF OCEANA

Twilight was in the house cleaning the place up when her dad came with a big present.

"Dad whose that for?"

"Yours its your sixteenth birthday today.Wait did you forget it was birthday?"Dante said with a smirk on his face.

"Honestly i forgot but thanks for the gift but im mostly interested with the secret of my species."

Dante looked at her daughter.He took in a deep breathe before speaking.

"This may sound unbelievable but the truth of the matter is that you are a.....mermaid.The day i found you and your mother on the beach,your mother was a mermaid and before her last breathe she made me promise her that i will protect you from the humans and that i should care for you as one of my own.I promised and she passed away.She wanted me to give you this on your sixteenth birthday.Im sorry for hiding this from you.I understand that you are...."before he could finish his sentence Twilight hugged him while crying.

"Thank you for telling me the truth.I know that it wasn't easy for you raising a child of such a species.The fact that im living and i have been given love that is enough reason for me to trust you."

"You can go and look at your mother since she is a mermaid i couldn't bury her normally so i just made a glass casket and filled it with water and placed her there."Dante said as he pointed towards the shed that Twilight was never allowed to go in.

Twilight went towards the shed and when she entered a beautifully curved casket was seen in the middle and the room and inside a woman who looked like her was inside. The woman had raven black hair,cherry pink lips,she had emerald green scales.She looked as beautiful as ever.

"I really do look like you.I wish i got know you before your death."Twilight said in a sad tone.

Later that night she was outside sitted on a rock looking at the vastness of the ocean.She looked at the locket that she found in her mothers hand.She opened it and she saw a muscular male with a woman holding a child.

"I guess the male is my father.He is wearing a crown so that makes him a king my mother the Queen and me the princess."she said to herself in a low tone.

She planted a kiss on the locket and placed it close to her heart.

"Why are you sitted all alone here?"a female voice asked.

"I got to know who my parents are and honestly i just need some time alone."Twilight turned around and saw that there was no one.

"And who are they?If i may ask i will tell you who i am if it pleases you?"the voice said again startling Twilight.

"What are you or who are you?"Twilight asked a little cautious.

"I'm a mer-princess i am actually looking for someone and i had a friend who was to help but i just found out that she died of old age"

"Wait you said you are a mer-princess that means you are a mermaid princess?"

"Yeah i know you are one of us because you can understand me.I'm speaking in our native language and you are responding in human language so that isn't bad."

"Can you help me identify these people it is the only thing i have that was my mothers."Twilight said looking at the water.She saw a beautiful girl who had purplish scales on her tail.

"Let me come up so that i can see it."the girl emerged from the water and she looked even more beautiful on the surface.She took a look at the locket and when she saw the picture of the king her eyes grew wide with shock.

"You are the lost princess and the one I'm searching for.I'm Princess Rina you r younger sister.The woman is your mother and the Queen of Oceana and the male is the King."

"So I'm really a princess?This is too much for me to take in."Twilight said holding her head.

"Twilight!Come back inside!"Dante called out.

"Ill be there in a minute!I'm sorry Rina maybe we can talk tomorrow.Here is something for you to eat while you stay around.Its not much but i can bring you some more if you..."

"Its alright it will do for now plus i had some fish earlier so I'm not as hungry as i was before.You should get going i will be here tomorrow morning.You should rest you have had a long day today.Good nyt Princess "Rina said before she went under the water and swam away.

Twilight entered the house and was served some food with Dante.She kept looking out the window and wondering what was going to happen now that she knows shes a princess and that Rina was looking for her.She looked at Dante and saw that it was best to tell him about everything she found out a while ago.She told him and he was left speechless.

"What should i do now?"

"I don't know how to answer that but all i know is that you should listen to your heart and do what you think is alright and ill support you on whatever decision you make."Dante said placing a kiss on her forehead before going upstairs to his room and sleeping.
