The next time Wen Yu gained consciousness, he was inexplicably transmigrated into a futuristic universe by an unknown entity, where the stronger ruled over the strong. Faced with a universe filled with, Mechas, spiritual power and being born in a military family to the most talented general of the Federation, Wen Yu quickly discovered that he could no longer be the pampered young master that he once was -especially when he was born with a body with extremely low aptitude. Lingxiu Military Academy

Wen Yu stared out the large window of the Lingxiu Academy spaceship in awe. This was his first inter planet travel without his mother and he couldn't sit still.

Around him were other children asleep in their comfort pods. Even his sister was asleep in hers. He was the only one awake but he really couldn't fall asleep in this state.

His mother had repeatedly fussed over them when they were leaving and he laughed at the memory. She'd warned him to avoid the Xie family at all cost.

And he nodded. He wasn't even worried about them recognizing him as his looks were 70% the same as his looks in his former world and 30% the Wen family's scholarly charm.

Hopefully, he'd grow taller in this world. His daily dose of milk shouldn't be for show. He soon fell asleep against the reinforced glass window.

Two days later, they arrived at the Capital Planet. A large Techno bus for the children coming from all over the Federation to Lingxiu Academy had already been prepared at the spaceship dock.

Wen Yu and Wen Lin controlled their automated luggage boxes amidst the sea of kids and walked over to the Techno bus stand with their invitation letters in their hands. It served as their bus tickets.

They were no helpers to aid them on this trip and it was the same for everyone else. Lingxiu Academy was for training future soldiers and logisticians and not to pamper young masters and mistresses.

They soon arrived at Lingxiu Military Academy ground and goodness, the place was grand. There were tall massive structures coated in gold and white, the signature colours of the Academy and lush greenery all over.

Wen Lin shuffled closer to Wen Yu as they got off the Techno bus. The entire area was full of little kids trying their hardest to look like adults. It felt a little intimidating.

Wen Yu shook his head gently and held her hand. They followed the crowd of kids and soon arrived at the registration centre.

Really too many kids, Wen Yu thought as he gently rubbed his head to soothe his developing headache.

His sickness was beginning to flare up and his body was gradually chilling at an alarming rate. He motioned with a finger to his lips when Wen Lin was about to speak up.

No need announcing his health condition this early. This place had seniors walking around and he was sure there were hidden masters too.

He didn't want them to look down on him before he even had the chance to try out the training and examination.

He popped a pill in his mouth and sighed in relief when warmth filled his chest. He had his eyes closed so it didn't take long for him to bump into someone in the crowd.

"Are you blind?!"

Wen Yu was dumbfounded when he opened his eyes. Even the kid he bumped into had yet to speak yet a stray kid by the side was already shouting at him. What was this?

Wen Lin quickly stepped forward and bowed. "Sorry, my brother didn't mean to bump into you, he had his eyes closed."

She looked around. Even if the Wen family was no longer in the ranks of the elites, they were still a fairly well known family and kids born from such families tended to mature early. She knew the protocols.

Lingxiu Academy was a gathering ground for the best of the bests and most often than not, these 'bests' all came from elite families.

You could casually throw a rock into this registration area and chances were you'd hit either the child or grandchild of some powerful figure.

"Is he stupid? How could he just casually close his eyes in a place like this? Brother Wei Da I'm pretty sure he was trying to use this method to get your attention, what a schemer. Don't be deceived!" The stray kid declared red-faced.

Wen Yu: '...'

What really was this? Wait, Wei Da? He looked at the brooch on the chest of the boy he bumped into and sighed inwardly. His mother had repeatedly told him to avoid the Xie family yet the first kid he encountered just happened to be Xie Han Wei's son. How unlucky.

Xie Wei Da was about to turn away and ignore the boy. He couldn't recognize him and since this face wasn't familiar to him, it just meant the boy was not from a well known family.

He was probably one of those commoner kids who weren't invited and even had to take the preliminary tests to qualify for the enrollment process.

Kids like these were basically trash just trying out their luck. He finally noticed the brooch on the boy's chest. Wen Yu? He looked to the girl, Wen Lin? He raised a brow.

The Wen surname wasn't that common in this age. It definitely wasn't a coincidence. News was his late eldest uncle's wife had adopted a pair of twins after his cousin died. The boy and girl looked to be about the same age although there wasn't much resemblance.

"The Wen family. You're the adopted kids?"

Wen Lin stared at the boy before them guardedly and Wen Yu just sighed inwardly. As expected of a child born from a wolfish family like the Xie family. His observation skills were sharp.

"Any problem?"

"What's with that tone? Do you know who is before you? How dare you talk to brother Wei Da with such a tone?!" The stray kid shouted again.

Wen Lin finally exploded. "What exactly is your problem?! Are you a dog? Why do you keep barking so much? Even your brother Wei Da has been quiet, why are you such a busybody?!"

"You...You...you.." The stray kid looked so constipated.

"Tsk. So noisy."

They all stared at the newcomer and Xie Wei Da's eyes glowed. It was Han Zihao! The precious grandson of Marshal Han, one of the four great Marshals and the Supreme commander of the Western Army.

His father had repeatedly told him that if he could befriend Han Zihao then his future would only be smoother because not only was he Marshal Han's favourite grandchild, word had it that he had SSS rank spirit potential. SSS rank!

"Brother Zihao you're here!" Xie Wei Da rushed out and then cleared his throat when he felt he didn't sound elegant enough.

Han Zihao just hummed and looked to the boy carrying his luggage behind him. "Look for a good spot for me to rest, the sun is a bit hot."

The boy nodded stiffly with his head lowered and walked away while Han Zihao waved his fan and followed leisurely.

Xie Wei Da finally remembered Wen Yu and Wen Lin and then he puffed out his chest.

"Don't think that just because you were adopted by the Wen family that you could ride on the coattails of the Xie family and my late eldest uncle." He humphed.

"Don't casually appear before me in the future hence I won't let you off."

Then he directly ran after Han Zihao. The stray kid smiled smugly at Wen Yu and Wen Lin before following after.

Wen Yu and Wen Lin: '...'

What hateful characters these kids were! If it were his former world they would've been stripped and spanked till their bums resembled cooked shrimps!

Wen Lin sneered. "What is he being so arrogant for? It's just the Xie family anyways. Without god Xie it's just the same as any other family."

Wen Yu laughed softly.

"And that Zihao kid doesn't seem like a good person either. Look at how he kept ordering that little attendant around! He even made him manually carry around those automated luggage boxes, so hateful! I feel so bad." She pouted.

Wen Yu gently pinched her cheeks. Attendants weren't allowed in Lingxiu Academy but it seemed the Han family had managed to find a loophole around that rule for this Zihao kid. He must be really precious to them.
