Being Released On Bail (1)
"Hey, didn't you hear what I've said, Young Master Kuangge? You're free to go now." The guard who was watching Ronald lay back on his bed now spoke up again.
'Ignore him Ronald, he's just a figment of your imagination.' Ronald repeated that sentence multiple times in his head until Gu Changsheng called him out.
"Hey Ronald, I thought you were suppose to be in jail for 2 weeks? I clearly heard that guard right infront of your cell door telling you that you're free to go now." Gu Changsheng was slightly gloomy and disappointed that the friend he had made inside of jail and was suppose to keep him company for the next two weeks was now leaving first despite only staying for half a day.
After hearing what Gu Changsheng had said, Ronald knew that his nightmares had came true, but he wasn't just going to let his sweet two week vacation go just like that.
"I don't care about the reason why you guys are suddenly letting me off the hook when you guys sentenced me to two weeks of jail time to begin with, but I'm not leaving this place until I've fully served my jail time!" Ronald looked at the guard and squinted his eyes at him.
"Uhh, Young Master Kuangge, you don't have to serve your jail time anymore. Someone, or well a few people had decided to bail you out." The guard tried to stay as respectful as he possibly can since he knew he couldn't offend the Kuangge family.
"What? Who?" Although Ronald had a bad feeling and felt like he knew who they were, he still wanted to ask to make sure anyways.
"The youngest daughter of the Xuan family, Luna Xuan, the eldest daughter of the Xie family, Xie Roulin, the eldest lady of the Li family, Li Wanruo, and it seems like our captain wants to bail you out as well."
"Well tell them that I'm not leaving this jail cell no matter what, even if god decides to come to this jail cell at this very exact moment and cleanse my sins." Ronald knew that his suspicions were true, and so he wanted to drive away these heroines before they ruin the plot that was suppose to only be meant for him.
"..." The guard looked at Ronald with both a confused and admiring look on his face, he didn't understand why Ronald didn't want to leave this jail cell, but he saw Ronald's determined look and admired that Ronald at least knew when he was in the wrong despite almost killing a man.
"Damn Ronald, four beauties wanted to bail you out and you rejected them? Are you gay or something? I'm sorry but I don't swing that way." After the guard had left the facility, Gu Changsheng looked at Ronald suspiciously.
Gu Changsheng didn't understand why Ronald didn't want to get bailed out, let alone from four of the most reputable beauties in China, Gu Changsheng wouldn't of mind if it was some ugly woman that took interest in him and wanted to bail him out.
So the only explaination he could think of was that Ronald wanted to stay at in jail in order to keep him company.
"Fuck no, I'm not gay. It's just that these women have been torturing me for the past 4 days now to the point where I would rather be here in jail than with them." Ronald wasn't lying, he had been mentally tortured by these heroines for the last couple of days.
"Haha, well I'm not surprised if you're getting tortured by Miss Xie and Miss Li, but aren't you a complete simp for Miss Xuan? I thought she didn't care about you." Ronald's reputation was so deplorable that even everyone's heard of him over at the capital.
"Yeah, but I don't really know why she's bailing me out. Maybe my love must've finally reached her heart!" Ronald couldn't help but twitch his face while saying this.
"Okay well suit yourself, I'm going right back to bed."
"Alright."

Back at the police station...
"Miss Xuan, why have you decided to bail Ronald out?" After nobody had spoken for awhile, Xie Roulin had decided to speak up first.
Xie Roulin asked Luna first because she knew that Luna had completely hated Ronald.
"I don't think I have to give you a reasonable explaination for my actions." Luna retorted back in a cold tone.
"Oh yeah? I thought you never liked Ronald? Ronald has been chasing after you for a few years now and yet you never once returned any of his feelings to him, but ever since you've met him at the banquet, your attitude towards him has completely changed. That's pretty suspicous, don't you think?" Xie Roulin started to get wary at Luna.
She felt like Luna had also regressed back in time and wanted to chase after Ronald's love this time around.
If this was actually the case, then Xie Roulin knew that she had to quickly change Ronald's opinion of her before Luna can further increase her relationships towards Ronald.
"Like I've said before, I don't have to give you an explaination about everything I'm doing." Luna really wanted to slap Xie Roulin's face now, but she decided to hold off on it since she was at the police station.
But although she was annoyed with Xie Roulin, she was still intrigued as to why everyone else in the police station had decided to bail Ronald out.
She remembered that in her last life, one of her subordinates had reminded her that Ronald had been released from jail after staying in it for two weeks, which clearly meant that nobody had decided to bail him out.
So with her deduction skills, she started to suspect that everyone that's currently trying to bail Ronald out right now had regressed back.
Just thinking about this made Luna sigh inwardly, however, she wasn't too worried about any of these terrible womens catching Ronald's heart.
As for the reason why?
Because Ronald still loves her!
And besides, it seems like only three other people had regressed back, which was nearly nothing compared to how many people had confronted her after Ronald's death.
"Okay, you two need to stop acting like childrens in here and stop arguing with each other. We're bailing out the same person anyways so there is no need for any hostility in here." Jiang Yixin was surprised that so many people wanted to bail Ronald out in this life, but she didn't think too much of it.
As long as she can somehow convince Ronald to stop being in love with Luna, she knew that she would have a chance of getting together with him.
After Jiang Yixin had spoken up, both Luna and Xie Roulin both gave a death glare at Jiang Yixin, but they knew that they couldn't make any further trouble here.
A few minutes later, the door to the jail facility had opened up, and instead of seeing a certain someone everyone wanted to see, only the guard came out.
"Where's Ronald?" The four heroines asked in a disappointing tone.
"Sorry everyone, Ronald had clearly told me that even if god had came to give him a visit in order to cleanse his sins, he still wouldn't come out."
After hearing what the guard had said, three of the heroines instantly became dumbfounded.
They couldn't understand why Ronald didn't want to leave his jail cell.
Only Li Wanruo on the other hand knew the reason why Ronald didn't want to come out of his jail cell.
"Well I had expected this to be the case, clearly Ronald is more upright than everyone else present here despite the rumors circulating about him." After secretly watching most of Ronald's movements in her previous life, Li Wanruo knew that Ronald didn't care about his so called pride that everyone else had.
Just thinking about all of the sacrifices that Ronald had done back in his previous life made Li Wanruo feel so distressed.
"So, what do we do now? We can't just leave Ronald hanging in that awful place for two whole weeks." Luna didn't want Ronald to suffer staying at the jail cell for two weeks straight.
"I'll go talk to him and convince him to come out then." Jiang Yixin agreed with Luna, she couldn't just watch Ronald suffer down at the jail cell for the next two weeks without doing anything about it.
"No! I'll go instead!" The other three heroines had simultaneously all spoke out at the same after hearing Jiang Yixin's statement.
All four of the heroines then looked at each other menacingly afterwards since they all wanted to be the only ones to talk to Ronald down at the jail cell and score some brownie points with him.
"Why don't you four just come down and visit him together?" The guard noticed that a fire was about to set off between the four people in the police station, so he hurriedly blurted out whatever was on his mind.
The four heroines then looked at each other, and knew that they weren't going to be able to get anywhere if they kept acting like this for the rest of the time, so they set aside their differences for now and followed the guard to where Ronald's cell was located.
