Being Released On Bail (2)

While the four heroines were making their way towards Ronald's cell, Ronald was currently lying on the bed with his eyes closed with a slight smile on his face.

Ronald knew that since there wasn't suppose to be any heroines in this jail plot, there was no possible way that the heroines can ruin this plot.

However, just as Ronald was about to finally go to sleep peacefully, he heard some movements outside of his jail cell and what he saw next made him instantly regret his previous thought.

Yep, the four heroines have showed up right outside of his jail cell.

"Luna, why are you here?" Although Ronald was absolutely horrified in his heart, he still maintained his personality as Luna's simp.

But what he couldn't understand was why the heroines had supposedly shown up to his jail cell when they weren't here in the original plot.

Ronald was almost confident that the heroines weren't allowed to interfere with any of the plots that they weren't supposed to be in, otherwise the heroines from the banquet plot would've interfered with the auction house plot, right?

Well anyways, Ronald couldn't think about this issue right now since he still has to deal with his current situation right now.

"Come on Ronald let's leave, you don't belong here." Luna made a waving gesture telling him to come out.

Luna knew that Ronald had been spoiled throughout his entire lifetime, and let alone Ronald, even an average hard working middle class citizen would have a rough time staying in jail.

So just thinking about how much suffering Ronald is going through while being in jail made Luna feel extremely distressed.

Although all of the other heroines didn't say a word, they all nodded their heads after hearing Luna's statement.

Ronald couldn't help but look at Luna dumbfoundedly, did she really think that he was mentally suffering just because he was sitting in jail?

He clearly wasn't!

As a matter of fact, he was suffering more from how weird the heroines have been acting for the past four days, but he knew he couldn't blurt this out.

"Haah... It's okay Luna, I already appreciate you showing up here to begin with, you don't have to go through this much effort for someone like me, and besides, I know that what I've done is a serious crime and I should at least pay the price for it." Ronald said with a gloomy look on his face.

Ronald didn't believe that there was absolutely no way he wouldn't be able to finish his plot and stay in the jail cell for two weeks.

"Awh cheer up Ronald! I've already bailed you out so you don't have to feel responsible for your actions anymore." Just by looking at Ronald's gloomy face and imagining just how much suffering Ronald will eventually go through in the next two weeks made Luna's heart ache.

"I'm sorry Luna, but even if you have already bailed me out, I'm still staying here." Ronald stated with a determined look on his face.

"Are you sure that you won't leave?" Seeing the determined look on Ronald's face, Luna felt like she wouldn't be able to convince Ronald, and planned to take on another approach in order to not let Ronald suffer as much.

"Positive." Ronald was absolutely determined to stay here at the jail cell for two weeks, no matter what happens.

"Okay, since you won't leave, I'll stay in here with you until your jail sentence is up." Since Ronald didn't want to leave his jail cell, Luna had planned to keep him company by staying in the jail cell with him for the next two weeks, and maybe this way they can even further develop their feelings for each other during this time.

"Stop!" Just as Luna was about to enter the jail cell, the other three heroines screamed simultaneously and grabbed both of Luna's arms in order to prevent her from going any further.

"Let go of me this instant! You guys don't have any right to meddle in my business!" Luna shouted in an aggravated tone.

"Like we'll let you!" After hearing the entire conversation between Ronald and Luna, the other three heroines quickly came to their senses and realized that all of them that were trying to bail Ronald out right now were actually regressors and knew that they absolutely couldn't let Luna stay in the jail cell with Ronald for two whole weeks straight.

"Ronald, can you keep it down in there, I'm trying to sl- JESUS CHRIST! What's going on here?" With all of the ruckuses going on outside of the jail cell, Gu Changsheng had slowly started to wake up from his slumber and before he could finish his sentence, he couldn't help but be surprised seeing four beauties fighting right outside Ronald's cell door.

Wasn't these four beauties the exact beauties that had tried to bail out Ronald awhile ago?

Gu Changsheng couldn't help but look at Ronald in a different light now, he felt like Ronald was actually pretending to be an idiot infront of the public eyes in order to hide the fact that he was actually a god.

A god at picking up beautiful girls!

This is exactly what all boys and men have envisioned themselves to happen to them one day.

Ronald on the other hand was completely terrified seeing how all of the heroines were fighting against one another for him.

'Weren't they suppose to be in Ye Fan's harem?'

'Why are they all fighting for me instead?'

'Have I somehow reincarnated into a drama novel without even realizing?'

"Okay okay stop fighting! I'll leave with you guys, we don't need any bloodshed here!" After thinking about it for a bit, Ronald felt like there was no possible way for him to complete this jail plot anymore, and could only accept his fate now.

Even though he didn't know if the jail plot was going to be considered complete, on the bright side of things at least he doesn't have to spend his two weeks of jail time in jail anymore.

But that also beckons the question, would the system count this plot as 'completed' just like the rest of the fucked up plots in this life, or would the system punish him for not being able to complete the plot?

And if the system were to punish him, what kind of punishment would he even be getting anyways?

The system clearly knew that it wasn't his fault that the plot became an actual disaster, so it couldn't blame him for trying to go against the plot just like he had tried doing multiple times in his previous life.

Ronald thought about it for a brief second, maybe he should try and oppose the system again in this life?

But he would gain almost no benefit if he had tried to oppose the system and managed to succeed anyways, except not having to be a slave to the system anymore, and besides, the system was his ticket back to earth.

Plus if he fails to oppose the system again just like all his other attempts in his previous life, he knew there was going to be some severe consequences waiting for him.

As for the possibility of staying in this novel world for the rest of his life?

No chance.

Why?

Well there are a few reasons for it, first of all the system told Ronald that he had the villain's aura and fate on him, meaning that no matter where and what he does, even if everyone knew that he had saved the world from world destruction, his aura is bound to attract hatred from both normal people and the protagonist, and he is bound to have a sad and miserable fate.

One of the other reasons was that since this was just a fake world created because of a novel, this novel world was going to end up being completely erased out of existence.

That's right, after Ye Fan is finished going through all of his adventures and reaching a happy ending with his harem, this novel world will just get deleted and cease to exist, although Ronald doesn't know why and he doesn't know to what extent this was true, that's what the system had told him.

So why even bother to try and stay in a world where you know is going to eventually get completely destroyed?

And on the plus side of things, all of the strength and wealth he has accumulated through the system, he'll be able to bring back to earth right after he's finished playing his role as the villain.

Ronald hopelessly sighed after wondering about what'll happen to him in the future, but for now he might as well try and spend his free two weeks relaxing outside of the plot.

While making his way out of the jail facility and back to the police station with all the heroines quietly following behind him, Gu Changsheng on the other hand was still admiring Ronald.

'Haha, looking at him now, it seems like he had completely fooled the entire world and was pretending to be an idiot on the surface...'

'Damn Ronald, you rock.'

'Once I get out of this jail cell I'll ask him for some advices in picking up beauties, if I could do even half of what Ronald can do, I'm sure I'll live out the rest of my life completely carefree, haha.'

'Well time to spend the rest of my two weeks in here.'

'...'

'Wait... hold up...'

'Couldn't he just get one of his girlfriends to bail me out of jail as well...?'

"Hey Ronald! Come back! I need you to get one of your wives to come bail me out of jail as well!"

"Ronald, are you listening?"

"Ronald?"

"RONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALD!"
