Grace Period

After Mike left, Lenny sat down on his bed, deeply contemplating the near miss.

"Knowledge about these things is very necessary to ensure I'm not disqualified unexpectedly. Should I consider using my savings to purchase the needed information from the marketplace? Dammit, I haven't even gotten past a week and I'm already slipping up this much?"

Just then, his phone rang. Taking it out of his pocket, he saw that it was an unknown number.

Picking up, he placed it to his ear.

"Yes? Who is this, please?"

The voice from the other end was calm and unrushed.

"Good morning. Am I speaking with Lennard Park?"

Lenny figured out who the caller most likely was, so he simply affirmed, "Yes."

"It's Thomas, from e-Amazon. I have a package for you. Please are you at home currently?"

"Yes."

"Alright, I will arrive at your address in 10 minutes. Please when I call, come out to get your items."
