Ocean Eyes ~year before~ *Jaclyn*

He grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back. I crawled backwards after I hit the ground.

'My first time in the sport's cub and I ruin my volleyball uniform and get pushed onto the ground by... THE LEADER?!?' I thought as the leader's arm band fell to the ground.

Then, a boy's unconscious body fell to the ground. I got up, grabbed my bag and ran off as fast as I could.

I skipped the rest of the day with the sport's club and ran home.

When my mother had just finished making dinner there was a loud knock at the door. It was Ruby and the leader of the sport's club nest to her.

"Hey, Rubes." I said in an awkward, shaky voice.

"You forgot your book." Tyler said as he lifted up my drawing notebook. I noticed the large gash on his hand.

"I'm sorry about what happened to your hand." I said as he looked at his hand. I recalled to when I met him earlier. The only thing he hand on his hand was a bracelet I saw snap in half.

"No need to be sorry. It was his fault for attacking you. I like to make sure my club members are safe." he said as he put his hand in his pocket.

"You d-didn't look in my notebook right?" I said as Ruby jumped, startled.

"Well,I showed him a few and he took the book." she said while she slowly backed up.

"Your drawing is amazing though! I really liked it."

"Hey! We have to eat dinner, so thisbconversation can continue tomorrow at school." my motther said, saving me.

Mom closed the door and I began breathing normal again. That night I wemt to sleep early. When I woke up the next morning, and got ready for school. The twins didn't go to our school yet, so that seat was where Tyler sat. I wrote story dialogue as i felt like I was being watched. I lifted up my head and SMACK! Tyler's head collided with mine. I rubbed my head and looked into the ocean eyes. They were absolutely breathtaking. I ignored him and I felt like someone was siitting by me.

'Now I wish Rose wasn't absent.' I thought as Tyler kept looking at the story dialogue.

I grabbed the book and tried to swat him in the face, but he grabbed the book before it hit him.

"Being club leader has it's perks." he said with a beautiful smile. My face flooded with heat when we locked eyes.

I turned away quickly and put my book in my satchel.

"Hey, ocean eyes! How's the girlfriend?" a few studens asked while we both were heading to the soccer field.

Then, Tyler grabbed my shoulder and turned towards the students.

"She's fine, thank you very much." he said with a look of amusement.

Once we were out of the students' line of sight, Tyler let go of me and kicked the soccer ball to me. We played a short game of soccer before Tyler pulled me over to the bleachers to say something. He promised to return to the school in at least a year. After that, I was the club leader.
