211 — Their Wedding Night— The Second Half

"Chuan, I—" Pei Yueran stopped, not sure about what to say. She didn't mean for him to stop, but she didn't know if she wanted him to continue either. Her stomach was almost in knots from the tension she was feeling.

"It's fine, just give me a minute." When he calmed down somewhat, he asked quietly, "Did I frighten you?"

"What? No." Pei Yueran whispered.

"I know I said I'd wait until you're ready, and I haven't forgotten that. I just got carried away a bit, but my promise still stands. Don't feel pressured, okay?"

Pei Yueran nodded wordlessly, then let out a short gasp as he swung her up and carried her to the bed.

He laid her down on the right side of the huge bed and pecked her forehead before getting in himself and holding her.

"Goodnight Honey."

One chaste kiss on her lips later, he relaxed, hugging her to sleep.

Although things ended differently and prematurely, both of them had smiles on their lips as they went to dreamland.

Pei Yueran wasn't sure what woke her up, but she was sure she had slept for less than two hours. It might have been the fact that the bed was unfamiliar, or maybe the fact that she wasn't used to sleeping in someone's embrace, even if that someone was her husband.

Thinking up to here, she noticed the problem. Li Chuanmo was moving a bit restlessly. At first, she thought he was having a nightmare, but when he ran his hands over her back, not to mention the feeling of something currently poking her abdomen, she understood.

Then without warning, he suddenly stood up. A few moments later, she could hear the glass door that led to the balcony slide open.

Pei Yueran sighed. What was she doing, spending her wedding night like this? For the first time, she seriously analysed her reservations about lovemaking.

It was true that she was a conservative person, but beside the fact that they were married, he was obviously someone she loved, and in truth, she had had enough time to get used to the thought.

The weirdest thing was that she was looking forward to the act itself, but the events leading up to it was what made her feel shy and embarrassed.

After going on a rollercoaster in her mind, she became determined. Her mother and Su Qianhua were right. She had to stop feeling shy, and she had to stop immediately.

That was the kind of person Pei Yueran was. When trying to make a decision, she would agonize over it endlessly, thinking from various directions and generally torturing herself, but once her mind was made up, she went straight into action, without hesitation.

Now that she had psyched herself up, she started feeling adventurous. Since she was going to do this, she might as well go all the way and do it properly.

So while her husband was still outside, she quietly slipped into the walk-in closet, planning to give him a surprise.

On his end, Li Chuanmo was slightly regretful that he had banked on his self-control. Today of all days, his measly self-control was nothing to write home about.

He could not sleep. Even closing his eyes brought up images of his wife to his eyes— her feisty eyes when angry, how they turned dewy when she felt embarrassed, how she could be mature one time, yet playful the next.

To make matters worse, not so decent images came up too— the way her clothes stuck to her skin the day he accidentally sprayed water on her, the sounds she made when he kissed a certain spot on her neck—

Li Chuanmo's hand tightened on the railing. Alright, he had to admit that his thoughts were not helping matters. It seemed that sleep was going to be elusive for him today.

Still he preferred that. Hugging his wife to sleep was a kind of sweet torture.

Resigned, he breathed in the cool air deeply.

Country Y usually had a warm climate all year round, and it was one of the reasons it was so appealing. It was warm when they first arrived, but the early mornings were generally a bit chilly.

After some more minutes, he headed in. He wanted to try catching some sleep, since he had planned to take her out in the morning for a coffee date. He wanted to show her the famous sights of Country Y.

As he looked towards the bed, he couldn't see her figure. That was when he noticed that the bathroom lights were on.

Thinking she probably went to relieve herself, he settled down in the middle of the bed to wait for her.

To keep himself busy, he started imagining things, like what his wife would look like in a skimpy nightgown, or even a beach wear. Knowing her, she would probably wear a bathrobe over those too. The thought brought a wry smile to his lips...

Which abruptly disappeared, to be replaced by an astounded expression when the person in his thoughts came out of the bathroom.

For a moment, the gap between the realm of thoughts and reality blurred.

Had he really conjured up an image of his wife wearing something this? But even in his wildest imaginations, Pei Yueran had never dressed like this!

Li Chuanmo's acquaintances all knew him to be a cool and collected person, and even Pei Yueran could say she hadn't seen him express shock so vividly before the way he was doing now. His eyes were almost popping out.

She rubbed her hands together, feeling uncertain. Did she perhaps overdo it?

She also thought that the black garter and stockings were a tad too much, but it went well with the red lace bra and crotchless panty set that Su Qianhua tagged "for seduction purposes," —which was why she also wore a black net thingy she found in her bag, to tone things down a little, not knowing that it only served to further combust a certain person's reasoning.

"Chuan?" She called out nervously. She stepped away a bit from the light, giving Li Chuanmo a clearer view.

As she walked towards him step by step, he could feel the blood rushing away from his head to you know where. He didn't even know when he got up to stand in front of her.

"Are you sure about this, Ran'er?" His tone was so husky that he almost didn't sound like him, but Pei Yueran nodded firmly, moving closer to hug him.

"Are you sure? Because I don't think I can stop halfway this time." He said for confirmation, his hands already on her shoulders.

"You won't have to." Her voice came out in a whisper. Feeling his raging arousal, she thought he would not be able to stop even if he wanted to.

That was all Li Chuanmo needed to hear. He enveloped her in his arms and started slowly at first, dropping a trail of light kisses from her face, to her collarbones. Then he buried his mouth in the crook of her neck, causing a slight sound to escape from her mouth.

Pei Yueran had developed a game plan: Don't think, just feel.

Since she was so good at overthinking, she might as well stop it all together and go with instincts.

So she ran her hands across his broad back and simply immersed herself in the myriad of emotions running through her body.

As the twilight gave way to dawn, the two people on the bed went on an age -old exploration, making winds and waves that didn't subside until long after the time for their coffee date had passed.

On this night, two wandering souls, once so lonely and deprived of love, found their haven.

While the moon peeked in on them on its silent journey, and before the sun took off from the East, the two had truly become one.

Summary for this honeymoon arc (from the Author's notes):

The wedding finally arrives, and then the honey moon that LCM has been waiting for.

At first, it seems that he would really only cuddle his wife to sleep, but PYR finds her conscience (just kidding) and they have one wild night!

Ha guys, it's true I have a commitment to not writing R-18 scenes, but any sort of romantic scene at all is so tiring. I think I should do PG transmigration romance for my next novel XD.

Anyway, there you have it—their honeymoon night!!!!

Thank you for supporting TBO so far)))
