Making A Sacrifice

-Charm's POV-

What the heck is this?!

In a blink of an eye, I teleported my way towards the king but making sure to keep a short distance between us.

"What did you do with Lance and Johanne?! Release them now this instant!"

I angrily created a huge flame from the tip of my wand and was about to aim it at the king when he suddenly opened his mouth.

"If I were you, I wouldn't do that if you wanted to see your friends still alive," he warned.

I was convinced that the king is dead serious about his warning when he commanded his soldier standing him to aim the sword higher to his throat.

"WAIT!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, causing the king to stop the mentioned soldier from going any further.

With a heavy feeling in my chest, I decided to disperse the flame out of my wand. Then I noticed him smirking at me right now.
