Chapter 1

"Don't run, everyone! Listen to the guide's orders! This is not a place to take pictures, the edge of the cliff is very very dangerous!" Rino screamed so loudly that his veins popped out at the crowd who were already running on their own to take pictures. He sighed helplessly and wiped the profuse sweat off the corner of his forehead before finally starting his task of bringing back these wayward tourists for the third time.

"Steve, you stay here with these people first. I'm going to find someone." Rino said.

"Okay." The young man called Steve calmly answered, and he led the rest of the group to wait in the shade, and the tourists were happy to rest and began to talk in that place while taking pictures.

Today was a very hot day, and the scorching sun that was splintering on the ground seemed to be splitting the surface. Steve took a sip of the water he was carrying in his hands, and a drop of sweat trickled down the corner of his forehead as he tilted his head. At that moment, there was a *click* sound that made Steve turn towards the place where the sound came from. A girl with a flushed face hurriedly hid her phone and nodded at him a little shyly.

"That's just the first one? But it's undeniable, you're too attractive." His partner, Teddy, tapped Steve on the shoulder in a seductive tone of voice.

It was clear from his comments that this had happened more than once.

Steve looks very good, he is tall and thin with very white skin. He was wearing a white tracksuit, and under a sun visor hat, his messy, visible hair was also white. His entire figure gleamed in the sunlight and he didn't look like a guide at all, more like an entertainer getting ready to perform at a talent show.

Taking off his protective hat, Steve fanned himself twice with the hat, "Are you talking about my hair?" Steve asked.

"I didn't think that you would actually turn your hair color to silvery gray too." Teddy spread his arms helplessly.

Steve glanced behind Teddy, Rino was back with the people, and he slowly sighed. "Let's go. We're not too far from the top of the mountain."

"Got it, the weather has been really abnormal this year. It's autumn now and it's still hot." Teddy wiped the sweat off his face. "Hurry up and end this trip. If this trip is delayed by one or two hours, I'm afraid these tourists will get sick from this too hot weather."

Teddy began to urge the tourists to continue their journey, and they quietly changed positions with Rino and Steve. After a motion to follow, Steve walked to the end of the line to prevent the tourists from falling behind.

Steve, Rino, and Teddy are colleagues from the same tourism agency. The company's main tourism project is quite different from other company services: they prefer steeper mountains and forests, hence their name is Close to Nature. Due to the slightly higher difficulty and the requirement for good stamina to continue exercising, the company's business is far from good during the summer months.

This year is even weirder. Because the autumn weather was still as hot as a fireplace, the company's business looked miserable.

That's why the company focuses on Steve. Steve is the youngest and most handsome tour guide in their company. They used the most handsome tour guide as a mascot to attract tourists but had no idea that this plan would actually work out. Steve's colleague made a joke of his that if Steve changed his hair color to white he could almost go to a talent show. Who would have thought that the next day Steve would actually come up with a head full of white hair?

Dressed in a white tour guide uniform, he looked like a fairy with white hair.

"Everyone, let's defend ourselves! We'll be at the top of the mountain soon!" Teddy led the tourists into the front row.

Following this mob, Steve looked up at the trees on the mountain. The trees were lush and green, and they could hear the sound of the insects hiding in the leaves. Not only because the temperature is very hot, even the leaves on the trees do not fall according to the season. Last year, at the same time, the leaves on the trees had fallen by almost half.

A gust of wind blew, the leaves rustled, but what the gust of wind carried did not cool. The weather was still stiflingly hot and getting hotter every day.

Steve took out his phone to check the temperature at his current location, and it was scorching hot indeed.

"Hot." Grumbled one of the tourists.

"I should have known this better so there was no need to come, I'm a little out of breath." Another tourist grumbled.

"When will we reach the top of the mountain?" asked another tourist.

The tourists started to complain, and Teddy, who was also suffering and sweating from the heat, quickly turned to calm them down. "Don't give up! We'll be there soon. Hold on a little longer!"

Teddy pointed forward, "Did you see the pavilion? On top of the pavilion is the top of the mountain, there are cold drinks for sale there!"

When they heard the cold drink, the tourists' eyes brightened. They were not far from the pavilion, so the group of tourists gathered their breaths and continued to follow Teddy. The marching speed of the group accelerated instantly.

"This is called looking for plums to quench your thirst." Rino helplessly sighed, his pace getting faster. Not only the tourists but even the guides who had climbed this mountain many times also quickened their pace and their throats tightened slightly when they heard the word 'cold drink'.

The weather is really bad for climbing.

As soon as they reached the top of the mountain, both the tourists and Steve were relieved.
