Chapter 22 Andors perception of the night before

Only on my third bottle of vodka, I was trying to drink away my insecurities. Ashina might reject our mate bond, and I was angry about it. There's no way I can live through a second rejection. I threw the empty vodka bottles at the wall. My heart was wallowing in self-pity.

In the middle of transferring files, I caught the intoxicating scent of my mate. I tried to sound belligerent so I wouldn't have to deal with her anger.

Then, I pretended to see apparitions that weren't there. I acted like I was talking to someone invisible. I pretended to pass out after whining about Ashina not loving me and me looking too hideous. I slammed my head down on the desk pretending to pass out. I didn't mean to cause my own injury when I hit my head on the desk.

At this point, I expected Ashina to leave me alone in my misery, but she came over to me anyways. I peeked out to see why her footsteps were getting closer, then closed my eyes to not alert her.

Ashina always surprises me, I thought she'd kill me now. Instead, she caressed my face lazily, tracing her fingers along my scar. While she was caressing my scar, she whispered, "You know, Andor, if you could look into other people's eyes, this scar only enhances your rugged good looks."

Wolves have enhanced hearing, so I wouldn't have heard her if I had been human. Firstly, I think maybe I am hallucinating? When would Ashina ever complement me?

Her beta showed up and both of them were trying to lift me. When I saw her, I knew I wasn't hallucinating. I wanted to laugh so much. I had no idea she would spray me with ice cold water. Despite Ashina's attempts to use Alpha commands, I was dying of laughter quietly inside, and my wolf was annoyed by me for not letting them know I hadn't passed out. It's time for my wolf to learn to laugh more.

As I was having too much fun, after she sprayed me with water and Alpha ordered me to lift me, I only helped them lift me so that I could then become dead weight again, dragging my feet.

It's no secret they dropped me on the bed with my legs hanging over the side when they got to my room. I was shocked when Ashina undressed me and looked down inside of my boxers. I could smell her arousal and it drove my wolf and me crazy. As she twisted me around trying to put my feet up on the bed, I grabbed her and trapped her underneath me. Pretending I was having sex in a wet dream, I was shocked that she went along with it.

We didn't have sex, but I felt her orgasm along with mine. Even better, she fell asleep while we were orgasming. I decided to make her feel comfortable too, so I took off everything but her bra and underwear, since she made me feel so comfortable while sleeping. The moon goddess gave me the most beautiful woman. She had strong abdominals and silky skin. I wanted to orgasm with her again, but I didn't want her to run away. As you can see, I spooned Ashina from behind after turning to her.

As it was still dark outside when I woke up, I only slept for a few hours. I looked at my little Ashina, running my fingers down the side of her soft cheeks. Her long dark eyelashes highlighted her angelic face. When she's awake, you'd think she's devil's spawn. He laughed; how funny it was that she looked so angelic.

There were sparks that emanated from both of them when they touched. He doesn't remember this ever happening with his first mate. Maybe the moon goddess made a mistake with the first mate, because his heart was Ashina's the day he met her. He thought he had a stone heart all this time.

Those plump red lips called him to kiss her like a siren's charm. He bent down and gently brushed his lips against her lips, enjoying the feel of her soft lips as he deepened his kiss. She wrapped her arms around Andor's neck like she thought she was sleeping.

In his heart, he had decided he'd never leave her side. His wolf smiled inside him agreeing. They will stand by her side and get the kingdom back. He was now Ashina's puppet. He now belonged to her heart, body, and soul.

It was just a matter of convincing Ashina to take him everywhere with her.

My beta sent in a mind-link asking where I was since I needed to go to the training grounds to judge how the teenagers are doing in their fighting.

I let my beta know that I was headed out to the training grounds. I was going to let the teenagers run five miles while I take a shower and then head out. I grabbed some shorts and tennis shoes and decided to shower in my office's bathroom so as not to wake my mate.

Once I had made it out to the training grounds, I was talking with my beta about different students when a huge scream ripped through the Pack House. With curiosity in my eyes, I look over to my beta. As we walked towards that, I noticed a huge wolf crashing through my balcony window. It's Ashina's wolf barreling right at me!

As Ashina's wolf jumped on top of me, I whispered, aren't I ruggedly handsome? Her wolf got wide-eyed and started snapping at me as I laughed at her cuteness.
