The Calm Before The Storm- The Jousting Tournament II

The Imperial palace had been adequately set up to host the big event. The Jousting tournament was about to begin. Lords and ladies were now seated in place in the set-up pavilions, pairing up with those they were familiar with. Hina had luckily found a familiar face- Amano- and the two, along with Kai, had taken a seat in a front row that gave them a full view of the yard. Although a common practice here, it was Hina's first time watching an actual game of joust and she found herself anticipating the event.

"Wow! I think we got some of the best seats in the house!" Amano squealed, seemingly a big fan of jousting, "last year, the princess had gained over ten roses from knights and lords alike and she had been labelled the "Princess of Roses". I wonder if it'll be like that this time too" Amano commented in passing, her eyes glittering with excitement as she softly tapped her heels in anticipation of the games.
