Lara was at rock bottom, feeling like a puppet whose strings had been cut. When she stumbled upon her husband and best friend in a compromising embrace, everything fell into place. The heartbreak stung, but it also ignited a fierce determination within her. Instead of wallowing in despair, fate intervened, giving her a second chance at life—waking her up ten years earlier, just before the chaos began. Armed with wisdom, she promised herself not to repeat the same mistakes. As she stood at the top of the stairs, her gaze fell on Lucas, her once-beloved fiancée. Regret washed over her; she couldn't believe she had almost let him slip away. This time, things would be different.

Chapter 25 - Carlos little mischief

Dea was the one that had gotten Kiera out of prison and hid her away for sometime, Kiera had reappeared as a model later on and this dress was what she wore during her debut. It had taken the world by a storm back then.

Lara started to feel terrible because she was the one that put Kiera in there and had turned a blind eye when she got attacked in prison, but this woman had saved Kiera and put her back on her feet.

Suddenly Lara had a lot more respect for the woman showing off her design, she was sure that the only reason this woman bought out this dress was because of Kiera.

She mentally kicked herself for her stupidity, but ever since she was reborn she had made a promise to herself that she won't repeat her mistake and this moment had just solidified her resolve.

After a few minutes of showing off, Dea gestured for the curtains to be opened and she carefully put the dress back in to the box.
