Chapter 28 - Keep Trying

Sky's POV

Shit...this was going to be harder than I thought. I couldn't stop thinking about Myra and how badly I fucked things up with her. Well it was her own fault for bringing back Sammy as a vampire demon. I still can't get over it even though it had been only two days since her surprising return.

I was sitting in the living room again, didn't want to be disturbed as I was watching a movie until Myra sat next to me. She let out a small sigh as she placed her hand on the side of her head, resting her arm against the sofa. Stay calm, Sky...

Before I knew it, I was biting my stupid lip again. "What's wrong?" Myra asked me. She then used her spare hand to lightly brush her fingers against my cheeks, trying to get my attention. Why was she doing this to me? I had to resist her. I had to. I took a small deep breath before I moved her hand out of the way from my face and got up to drink from a blood bag.

"Why are you not talking to me, beautiful?" she asked me using her favourite nickname as she decided to follow me into the kitchen. I was wearing a simple long black cardigan which covered my lazy shorts. I couldn't be bothered to put on a shirt so I just wore a black bra. I grabbed my blood bag from the fridge before I leaned against the counter and sank my fangs into it with Myra watching. At least she was still a vampire...right?

Also, why was she watching me feed? It's not like I care or anything, it was just a tad bit creepy for my liking. "Sammy is upstairs if you want to see her again." Myra then told me before enough was enough. I stopped feeding before I threw the blood bag straight into the sink beside me. I can't stand her anymore. I really couldn't. "Do you really fucking think that this is okay?" I asked her, my voice deep. Myra then bared her fangs at me as a reply. Yep, she was still a vampire. Well that was great news at least.

I bared my fangs at her back before I suddenly pinned her against the wall. Apparently, I was much stronger than her, or was she playing an act? I didn't care. She needed to stop.

"Stop. Stop being like this. A crazy person." I said to her before she then started to laugh at me. I hissed at her loudly, which made her shut up. Her eyes were glowing a dark purple before she had me in a spell. I let go of her. Fuck.

"The blood moon is going to be so much fun." she then told me before my eyes widened at those two words. Blood moon. The blood moon wasn't far...

Myra then kissed my cheek before she vanished into thin air, probably went upstairs to have some more time with Sammy. I was frozen in place, shocked and didn't know what to do with myself.
