"Empathy?"

Ananya thought out loud.

The book she learned Empathy from was in the Royal Library.

She had never visited this place.

As the Ancient One started going through the lines, a voice came from the far corner of the room.

"Maya?"

Acharya sprang up to her feet, closing the book. She spun around in the direction and smiled widely.

"Father! I didn't see you there!"

"Father?"

Ananya thought,

as a middle-aged man

made his way up to them in haste.

He wore Purple robe just like that of Acharya's and had his hair neatly tied up. He looked strangely handsome and had Acharya's eyes.

"What are you doing here?"

The man asked acting pissed.

"I am here for Knowledge, Father."

Maya replied calmly.

At this point Ananya was dumbstruck on knowing that her Kingdom was named after Acharya.

Or was it the other way around?

As Ananya was immersed in her thoughts, the Father and daughter took a seat and looked at each other in a pensive mood.

Suddenly, Maya snatched her Father's hands and performed Empathy.

As if he already knew, her Father showed no resistance.

Ananya was petrified when Acharya used Empathy. She had clearly seen that Acharya had no idea how to get out. Right now she didn't have much choice but to follow Acharya into Empathy while she was already in one.

Before she could enter the circle, a sudden outburst of Energy broke the bond. Maya was pushed out of the circle while her Father calmly retained his posture.

Ananya had no clue of what had just happened. It could be possible that there was no memory to be shown by Acharya's Father.

Sure enough, Maya had realised the same. She grabbed her Father's hand and pushed up his sleeve.

A Thousand Slash Curse.

Maya was shocked.

Her Father had no memories left to be seen. Then how did he know her name?

"Father?"

Maya called out to her old man, shaking him vigorously.

Her Father showed no response.

Suddenly a Troup of Dark Army stood in front of her.

Maya couldn't understand what was happening. She looked around, searching for a way out.

Still confused, she cast a Mist to detect nearby magic and found that someone attached a Time Lag on her.

It was specially made to make Maya feel that everything was fine within a certain radius. But outside, everything moved a hundred fold faster.

Shocked, Maya swiftly wrote a teleportation Tailsman.

Ananya cast an Attachment Silk on Acharya which wont allow them to be separated by more that two meters.

Before Maya could cast the tailsman, an unknown magic source blinded her.

Ananya lost sight of what happened as she was in Empathy with Acharya.

A few minutes later, light poured in.

They were brought to the Courtroom.

On the Kings Throne sat a lean man covered in Dark Leather Coat and wearing White Robes. He had a nasty Curse Mark on his arm.

Before Ananya could figure out what Curse was cast on him, Maya spoke,

"What do you want now?"

"Same old , same old!"

The Man on the Throne said with a Sneer.

"When will you ever stop Ash?"

Maya said in a weary tone.

"Hand him over to me.

I would end my games."

Ash replied straightforward.

"You have already killed him."

Maya said as she struggled to hold back her tears.

"I didn't cast that Curse.

He did it to himself."

Ash replied.

"You know that's impossible."

Maya yelled.

"Well I don't care.

He did this to me!"

Ash yelled back showing his

curse mark.

"Why do you want him when he can hardly speak a word?"

Maya asked.

"I need his core. You know that."

Ash replied.

"It's already half way destroyed.

It won't work."

Maya said, retaining her posture.

Her feet trembled in fear of what's to come. But she dare not show it.

"So you have lost the

Pin-Bond Thread?"

Ash said, as a smile

creeped up on his face.

Maya went white on hearing this.

"How did he know?"

She thought to herself.

All of a sudden, a guard threw a limp body to the ground.

"Father!"

Maya cried out loud.

Ash got up from the throne and head up to the old man.

Using a Deaths Grip, he pulled Maya closer to him. He held her face in his hands and gave a mischievous grin.

"Don't you dare!"

Maya said, as she trembled with anger.

"You know I love you."

Ash whispered in her ears and gave her a hard push.

Ananya's eyes went wide in fear as

Ash cast the Thousand Slash Curse.

"NO!"

Maya cried as she took the hit and fell to the ground.

Blood spurted out from her mouth.

She tried to pick herself up and face the man she once loved.

Ananya was devastated as she saw her teacher get hurt. She looked at Ash with boiling blood and cursed under her breath. Ofcourse it wouldn't work, but she hated to stand there and not be able to do a thing.

Ash, on the other hand, was pleased with what he had done.

He pulled up Maya's Father from the ground and thrust his hand into the old man's chest.

Ash pulled out the man's core from his spiritual self and cured his Curse Mark.

Ananya suddenly realised what the curse was!

The Soul Repear Curse.

A curse that would kill all the light and hope in your world and force you to take the Dark Path.

"Why would Acharya's Father

do such a thing?"

Ananya thought to herself.

Suddenly, Ananya heard bells ringing in her ears.

"Namjoon!"

Ananya hissed in anger, as she knew that the Prince was trying to get her out of the circle.

She wasn't done yet.

As Ananya resisted the urge to get out,

Maya got back up on her feet and cast a powerful shield.

"Maximus Nioma!"

Ash's eyes went wide in fear.

He couldn't believe that Maya had such strength left to attack her Cursor!

The shield that destroyed Dark Magic pushed the entire Dark Army

out of the kingdom.

Maya fell back on her feet and closed her eyes in peace.

Ananya smiled as a tear rolled down her cheek.

The sound of the bells was louder than ever. Ananya closed her eyes and let go of the world of Empathy.
