chapter 20

A week passed since Izuku placed the room for rent, still waiting for response, the day continue without waiting.

As for what the members were doing at the moment, Eri was having her nap in the lap of Aizawa, that was doing work in the sofa, Twice was finishing cleaning the training room, where he was placed to work on, Toga was finishing baking some bread, while Dabi was training in attending and getting requests from costumers, and Izuku was bashing an old newspaper on Bakugo's head as he explained the mistake he did in history, "How can't you understand that the pre-quirk era was 240 years ago!" Izuku whisper-yelled as he smashed the newspaper on Bakugo.

"But quirks started being prominent 80 years ago!"

"They just became a majority there! Quirks exist from long ago!"

"And why should I care about a shining baby in the middle of India!"

"He was the first confirmed quirked!"

"But the term quirk was only used in the Destro generation!"

"At the time it was referred as super-powers. There are quite a lot of entertaining movies in the pre-quirks era that could be useful for you."

"And why the f-" Bakugo stopped himself as he felt a strong glare on him, "fuuoool do I have to know when heroes started appearing!"

"Because its Hero History Studies!"

"That doesn't make sense! Why do I have to know this shit!" Not even a second later he was bashed by a fist instead of a newspaper, "Why did you do that!?"

"Don't curse!"

As Bakugo grumbled away, trying to figure out why he needs the information he is studying, Izuku got up, hearing him being requested by a costumer, Izuku smiles as he walks towards the person.

"Hello Nemuri, Hizashi. What do you need?" Izuku asks, a kind smile on his face as he listens to the costumers requests. After taking the requests Izuku heads to the counter, "Dabi, can you get a strawberry parfait with extra sugar, and a chocolate one?" Receiving a nod, Izuku takes over Dabi's position as he deals with the request.

The day was calm compared with the others, people were now more used to seeing some heroes visit the place, and enjoy some private time, and now reporters would camp out the door, looking for pictures of the heroes, but thanks to the help of Tsukauchi, they are not permitted to disrupt the business, nor demand interviews with the employees.

Next day was the same as the day before, this time with Kota on the house, he and Eri were with Twice as they could freely play in the gym in the kids corner.

Everything was calm and normal, a nice sunny Sunday, Keigo, was visiting, this time staying, as he talked with Nemuri and Hizashi, in the same table, Aizawa working in the corner of the cafe as always, Ryuko was also visiting enjoying a nice cup of tea and biscuits, Bakugo studying in the same table as always, as he would take the occasional bite of his sandwich, Grand Torino enjoying his taiyaki, and the remaining employees doing their normal works.

Izuku noticed Chako sitting besides Aizawa, but didn't mind it too much, hearing the door bell ring, Izuku looked, noticing what he was seeing, he dropped his empty tray, earning the attention of everyone else, that soon after fell silent as they saw who entered the place.

The two that entered the place stared in confusion as everyone was simply staring at them without saying a word.

Breaking the silence, small footsteps were heard coming down the stairs, peeking her little head through the door, Eri asked, "Izu, did you see where I put Chako?" Eri questioned the shocked boy, not earning a response she looked at what the green-haired boy was looking, making her fall silent as well.

As the two new guests were starting to get uncomfortable, Eri smiled, a big bright smile, giggling as she run to one of the guests.

"Chako!" She called out as she hugged the leg of the unknown girl, breaking everyone from their starting.

Izuku quickly took hold of Eri, getting her away from the girl, "H-Hello?" Izuku awkwardly stuttered out.

A older version of 'Chako' smiled, and gave a slight bow, "Hello, I emailed because of renting a room." The woman said.

Izuku gave a shy smile as he processed what was happening around himself, "A-Ah, yes." He bowed too, "I'm the one that placed the room for rent, the name's Midoriya Izuku, it's a pleasure to meet you." He then dropped Eri at Bakugo's arms and pointed to the inside of the house, "Please come this way." Izuku said as he smiled.

The two followed Izuku inside, when they heard a door close, Bakugo pretty much yelled, "That was round face, wasn't it!?" He received several nods of acknowledgement, as everyone had their fun now chatting about the two unknown guests Izuku started the interview.

"As it was described in the description, renting the room here come with some perks." Izuku started, as he put a more business smile on, "The room was put to rent for students that wish to attend U.A. this year, it comes somehow pricey but there are ways to pay the rent." Izuku dragged a small sheet with different times and empty spaces to fill, "This is a shift plan, a plan that will allow the person that rent the room to work in the cafe, if they work 4 times a week for the month the room will be payed, if they work more than the shifts needed they will receive pay as a part-time job." Izuku explained as he pointed at the sheet, "Of course, school comes first, this place has a common room, for the residents to stay at, a training center, and the cafe areas, studies can be made at the cafe or in the common room, and if need be training can be done in the training room." He explained as he took another schedule, "The training room is used 3 times per week by people that wish to train there, that are normally regulars at the cafe." Izuku looked up to the two female guests, "Questions?"

The younger one nodded, "I'm Uraraka Ochako, I would like to rent the room for school, I know that I can at least enter the General Education Course, but I'm aiming for the Hero Course. I already talked with my current school and they allowed online school for the remaining of the scholar year, and that way I will not need to go to school home from now on."

Izuku was pondering that even the name was similar with the Chako toy of Eri, the only difference being the skin color.

The one that Izuku guessed was the mother smiled and nodded also, "The part-time would also be great, if she could work while getting her studies done would be much appreciated."

Izuku smiled and nodded, "Of course, if she is going to live here, she will get help from the other residents as well, and as she is aiming for the Hero Course, I will gladly help in her studies, making sure that she won't get behind in classes as she works here."

After some other questions they got to a conclusion on the price, the shifts Uraraka will do, and everything else, and that they would return home for the day, and that in the next day they would bring the things needed for Uraraka to move in.

Later that day, Nemuri and Toga were talking, "So, Kitty, how is it going with Izu? Any progress?"

Toga blushed slightly, as she thought of the green haired boy, "We did go on a date some time ago, but do you think we are getting close? I'm not sure..." Toga started to lose enthusiasm as she thought of her situation with Izuku.

As if on cue Izuku passed behind them, and reached out for Toga, "Toga is there anything in need for the kitchen, I'm going for a run in the shopping center and get some stuff."

Toga placed a finger on her chin as she thought, "We need that. Its the only thing in urgent need."

"Just that?" Toga nodded, and Izuku left.

Nemuri blinked at their quick exchange, getting closer to Toga, "What was that?" She asks.

"What was what?"

"Kitty." Nemuri's smile widened, "You two were reading each others minds."

"Were we?"

"Then what was that 'that', that was missing?"

"Trash bags."

"Then how did he knew it was trash bags?"

Toga tilted her head, "Wasn't it obvious?"

Nemuri sighted not even sure where she should start.

Ochako successfully moved in, Bakugo even helped in moving her stuff to her designated room, and she looked happy as she was serving costumers and helping Toga out in the kitchen, even though Ochako's technique with the knife and other things was not on par with Toga, but that's something that will come with experience.

There were still 3 weeks for the entrance exam, the night Ochako moved in, Izuku proposed her a training plan, one that will teach her fighting styles with Toga, and analyses skills with him.

She was glad to join the place, she found everyone to be extremely kind to her, and she responded with more or the same amount to them, Ochako also got really close to Eri, as they even slept together on the second night she was there.

Everything was going great, and Toga even invited her to go shopping with her for ingredients, which Ochako gladly accepted.

Their outing was amazing, they could feel themselves getting closer to each other, and even shared some laughs on the way.

After the shopping it was time to go back, Ochako now knew that Toga and Izuku were aiming for the General Education Course at U.A., and she gladly encouraged them to work for their objectives.

Ochako separated from Toga, as she needed a quick stop at the bathrooms, and when she got back, she found Toga, being surrounded by three guys, as if a drama was playing out, they were hitting on Toga. Ochako felt something bubble in her, and she walked to Toga, getting closer to her, she wrapped her arm around Toga's waist, "I'm back Toga."

The boys whistled, excited because the girl they were aiming for had a friend. Ochako glared at them, and without skipping a bit, she quickly put her hand on Toga's mouth, and then kissed her hand, faking a kiss, as they separated, Ochako smiled at the boys, "Sorry. She is already taken." And finished with a wink.

As they just gave up and headed out for their next target, Toga was shocked, only to break free as Ochako looked at her, completely red, "A-A-A-Are y-y-you o-o-okay, T-T-T-Toga?" Ochako stuttered out.

Something on Toga awakened, as she hugged the brunette and gave her a wide smile, don't get Ochako wrong, she doesn't have any romantic feeling for the blonde, nor the blonde for the brunette, but Ochako was furious that some boys were trying to take her friend away from her, and Toga was happy that Ochako defended her without skipping a beat, even thought she became really flustered by the act later.

A new friendship was born that day.

Dinner came, everyone was sitting at the table, "So, how was your first time shopping in the area, Uraraka?" Izuku asked.

Ochako smiled, "It was great, it was also really fun going out with Toga."

"Izu, she is super dangerous. If you don't act quick she will steal me away from you." Toga snickered at Izuku making the boy question what they did. "She is really dangerous~"

After the final comment, Toga shared the epic story of how Ochako saved her from the guys that were hitting on her, and everyone else at the table agreed that Ochako could actually be dangerous.
