THE TOXIC BOND

Love can conquer Evil, but what if your love is EVIL? A promise was made two years ago between the two broken souls...a promise of working on their imperfections and sharpening them to fit in each other perfectly. THE TOXIC DEAL was what clashed their destinies together. Life threw the thorns of secrets and betrayals in their way, yet they fought together. They won together! Parting their ways was their conscious choice with a hope of a better tomorrow. Their promise kept them going and battling their demons. But not all promises are meant to be kept! Bria Maxwell and Hayden King couldn't find their happy ending in the first book- THE TOXIC DEAL. Now it is time for the reunion, but are they ready to face each other after growing into two completely different persons? Is their love still strong enough to burn bright in the fire of desire? Or the willingness to fight for each other has already faded away? Join them in their further adventure that is grander, scarier, more thrilling and... more dangerous! ***** This is the second book of the 'TOXIC' series! 69 SHE IS JUST A KID

GABRIEL

I took some minutes after my video call with King. His reaction was not unexpected to the kids but was frustrating for sure. I had never seen King act as he had begun about one and a half years ago.

I tried to find out the reason, but none occurred to me. King was a man of his word, and he would die just to keep it.

And these were the promises he made to Bria, the only woman who had ever gone so close to him that we all believed that he almost loved her though he never said it out loud.

And as far as I knew, Bria never mentioned him confessing his feelings to her. The night before she had to leave, they spent together in King's room.

Nobody knows what conversation happened between them that night except the two of them, but the next day, she left without meeting him or even asking about him. Though she was sad to leave us, she was not broken, that was what I knew back then.
