Now it is time for the reunion, but are they ready to face each other after growing into two completely different persons? Is their love still strong enough to burn bright in the fire of desire? Or the willingness to fight for each other has already faded away? Join them in their further adventure that is grander, scarier, more thrilling and... more dangerous! ***** This is the second book of the 'TOXIC' series! BRIA

Before things got more heated, my mind came up with an idea. Joshua was about to retaliate when I jumped into the conversation.

"Officer, we want to see that day's CCTV footage. Now!"

Pindrop silence fell over everyone as they stared at me dumbfoundedly but as soon as my words made sense to them, half of them had brightened faces while the police officers looked a little apprehensive.

"The CCTV footage?"

"Yes! Now don't give us the lame reason of them not working." Joshua warned.

The officers looked conflicted, and again a silent conversation passed between them.

"Follow me." The officer who was dealing with us said before taking us to a smaller room where a man was sipping his coffee while sitting in front of a monitor.

He straightened up, seeing his senior.

"Show us the footage from last week." The officer passed him a note that had the date and time scribbled on it.
