Getting Aerith Back

"You are finally here," says John as he and Nesiara stand up.

"Did you see the simulation?" asks Nora as both nod.

"That would be the future of Midgar," says Nesiara as the group looked pale.

"We need to warn the people," says Barret as John catches his shoulder.

"Do you want to cause a mass hysteria. She said 'would be' not 'is'. So calm down," says John as the one handing the Black Materia to Sephiroth was quite clear-headed right now.

"Why are you two waiting here?" asks Cloud as John let's go of Barret that seemed to have calmed down.

"There will be a conference over us in a moment. We all can't go in that would drag too much attention to us," says John as he walked towards the stair to go down with them.

"What John wants to say is that we will infiltrate the lab before the conference begins. You should try to find out about what they talk in that conference and then follow Hojo inside. We will be waiting there for you," says Nesiara as the group understood what they had to do.

They leave the cafeteria and get a glimpse of President Shinra. Barret wanted to do something but hold himself back knowing bow wasn't the time.

They waited for President Shinra to reach the 64th floor before they went up just to be safe that he didn't see them.

On the 64th floor, they separate again as John stood in front of a giant metal door blocking his way when he says, "Justice can you do something about this."

"No problem," says Justice as he pops up and begins to hack into the system as he did before.

The door opens and John with Nesiara entered the lab. Justice disappears as John and Nesiara were walking around the lab finding people working there when one of them says, "You shouldn't be here."

"I think otherwise," says Nesiara as she waves her hand and magic surrounded the whole room. All the workers suddenly were calm almost like in hypnosis.

"Yes, you are right," says the worker as he left them again.

"I love it when you use magic that I still can't use," says John as Nesiara smiles.

"Then you should train your magic a bit more," says Nesiara as she walked in further seeing a red beast when she stops.

"Isn't that Red XIII?" asks Nesiara seeing the red beast inside its glass prison.

"Yes," says John as he was worried since Red XIII wasn't moving at all.

"Should we break him out?" asks Nesiara as John nods.

[Justice can you open this container?] asks John as the container opens and Red XIII jumped directly at John thinking that John wanted to experiment on him.

But to Red XIII surprises John didn't even budge when John catches him and says, "Playing dead was good. You made me and my wife worry but we aren't the bad ones. Play along and you will leave here earlier then you would expect."

Red XIII was struggling to free himself from John's arms only to find out it didn't work. He stopped resisting and John put him down.

"Follow us," says Nesiara as she smiled at Red XIII before taking the lead as they walked around the room not finding Aerith when Nesiara turns to Red XIII and asks "Have you seen a girl being brought here yesterday?"

Red XIII didn't answer just tilting his head as a dog would do when he didn't understand the question when John says, "We know that you can speak. You don't have to hide it from us. The girl is important to us. She is like a daughter to us."

Red XIII then walks towards the elevator passing a giant container as he says, "She was taken upstairs. I don't know what they might have done to her since upstairs is only that bastard's lab."

"You mean Hojo. Well don't worry he will die sooner then you might believe," says John as he pushes the button and the elevator comes down.

They enter it push the button to go up when Nesiara says, "Now how about we present ourselves. I'm Nesiara Crownguard and this here is John. Our children will be joining us soon with some friends."

"You can call me Red XIII or Red for short," says Red XIII as John pets him when Red XIII says, "Stop that."

"Sorry, just a habit," says John as he stopped petting Red XIII.

"John has a White Tiger as a pet. Fang is just far bigger then you but when they change into their little form he is as big as you and if he is in his tiny form he can even sit on John's shoulder without a problem," says Nesiara explaining why John unconsciously petted him.

"We should concentrate on getting Aerith and destroy the lab before Hojo arrives," says John as he looked at the lift door to open.

"Do we kill him right there?" asks Nesiara as John thinks about it.

"We could, he really isn't that important to this broken timeline anyway. But I will have Justice collect all data on his experiments to find a cure for Cloud," says John as he answers Nesiara's question while Red XIII looked at them confused.

"We are in the Shinra Building. It will be almost impossible to get any data you want," says Red XIII as he was sure that everything was secured heavily.

"How do you think we got you out of your cell?" asks John as Red XIII begins to think.

"With the help of one of the workers. I have seen how friendly they were to you," says Red XIII as Nesiara smiles at him.

"We have a little friend that can hack into any secure place. He even hacked into a more secure place before," says Nesiara as she opens her hand and Justice appears in it while saying, "Say hi to Justice."

"Mr. Nanaki," says Justice as Red XIII backs away after hearing that name.

"How do you know that name?" asks Red XIII as he looked ready to attack.

"Let's say that he is a flying and talking Library that knows everything since he read every book inside our Library before we were even born," says Nesiara as John begins to calm him down by petting him again unconsciously.

"Stop the petting," says Red XIII as he was angry that John petted him again.

"Calm down and I will stop," says John as Red XIII suddenly showed his belly instinctively to John who petted it making Red XIII give up to fight against it when John says, "Who is a good boy."

"I will bite your hand off if you give a similar comment again to me," says Red XIII as the door opens.

"We arrived it seems. You two can stop. Justice can you hack into the system and download everything for John," says Nesiara making the plan as Justice disappears and John stopped to pet Red XIII.

They take some steps into the lab of Hojo and find Aerith rapidly when Nesiara says, "Justice open the container."

The container opens and Nesiara hugs her before asking, "Did he do something to you?"

"No, just some empty threats," says Aerith with a smile happy that Nesiara and John were already here.

"Where are the others?" asks Aerith not seeing the others.

"They should be here quite soon," says Nesiara as she releases Aerith from her grip. Then she looks around and asks, "Where is your staff?"

"It should be in there," says Aerith as she passes them and enters the main console room of the laboratory and takes her staff.

After retrieving it she notices Red XIII and asks, "This friend is?"

"Red XIII," says Nesiara with a smile as Aerith smiles stretching her hand towards Red XIII who allowed her to touch him.

"You can call me Red if you want too if Red XIII is too long," says Red XIII as he looked at Aerith.

"What do we do now?" asks Aerith as she looked at both adults.

"We wait for Hojo. Then I will take care of him," says Nesiara as she looked seriously and her eyes turned into the same that Kieron and the others showed her before while Red XIII was surprised by the change.

"Do you also have demon blood inside you?" asks Aerith as John smiles at her.

"No, Nesiara doesn't really have demonic blood inside her if you want to compare it to my blood," says John as Aerith looked at him confused like Red XIII.

"You will find out sooner or later," says John after seeing them look at him like that.

Then the lift goes down and all four react and Nesiara says, "Aerith, we will break our promise to you beginning today. We are at war beginning today."

Aerith looked a bit sad that they needed to break the promise but she could understand it because of the situation they will be facing from now on.

"Nesiara catch them when they enter the room not giving them the chance to attack," says John as he suddenly was in a blue armor surprising both while Nesiara changed into her crimson armor.

They didn't draw their weapon as Red XIII was quite nervous about what was coming from the lift when the lift was coming up again.

The door opens and Nesiara and John were ready to attack when they stopped making Red XIII and Aerith look confused until the people inside the lift came out.

The first to get out was Hojo followed by two women. One looked exactly like Nesiara while the other had long black hair and as last was a black man with a Gatling Gun as hand.

"You are lucky we saw you before acting," says Nesiara as both Tifa and Barret were surprised to see Nesiara and John in armor.

"Cloud and the other two are dealing with a monster downstairs. We caught him before he could escape with the lift. But it seems he would have died if we let him go alone up," says Yui as Nesiara and John were back in their clothes.

"Yes, he would have died," says Nesiara as her eyes turned back normal and takes Hojo by his arm while saying, "We have so many things to talk about."
