Her Dream
Adriann averted his eyes from Amaia before shifting them on Miranda who purposely put the ring boxes in front of him, totally ignoring Amaia as if she was invisible. Adriann didn't like her audacity at all because no matter what Amaia was still wife and he would be damned if he let anyone disrespect her.
"Place them in front of my wife." He ordered coldly while gesturing to Miranda to place the ring boxes in front of Amaia. Amaia felt her traitor heart skip a beat when he again called her his wife. He addressed her twice like that in the same day.
"Apologies. Please have a look Mrs Levinson." Miranda's face fell for a second before she quickly recovered. She wasn't any fool. She knew exactly what Adriann's words meant. It was a clear warning for her and she was wise enough to back off.
