The Department was Taken Over
A few hours had passed but Pei Yan had not returned with any news. Yu Feng stared out the window and could not help but worry.
She had only asked Pei Yan to inform her brother, Zhou Ming about the abnormalities that Lu Zheng Yang had spoken to her earlier. However, that man had still not returned. Her heartbeat accelerated as various scenes had appeared in her mind. Yu Feng could not sit still until Pei Yan had returned.
Madam Zhou had come over to visit her courtyard earlier. Yu Feng could only put on a smile on her face as she did not want her adoptive mother to worry.
Once Madam Zhou had left, Yu Feng went to look for Mo Chen again. "Have Pei Yan returned?"
The butler's expression turned slightly darker as he shook his head. "Not yet."
Yu Feng pursed her lips into a thin line before she spoke again, "Mo Chen, can you go and investigate what is going on?"
