The sun was up high in the sky, but unlike in the Capital City, the temperature in Jing City was colder. On the street, the people were wearing thick clothes and fur coats. It was a different scene as compared to Capital City.
The market in Jing City was located near the east side. At this time, the market in Jing City was bustling with people coming to trade their goods. Just outside the gate, dozen of caravans with colorful flags lined up outside the market as the merchants were waiting for their turn to enter the market.
Just like in Capital City, some officials were guarding the market gate. They stood at the sides of the entrance with a workbook in one hand and a brush in another. After they have checked the documents and write down the details of the goods, the official would collect a sum of money, depending on the goods that the merchant had wanted to bring in.
