Preparations for school and departure to capital

Knowing that he has to go to school unconditionally, Noah now has four years to prepare for his school life. He listed out the things he needed in order to have a peaceful school life.

He listed out four factors: knowledge, physical strength, background, and training.

He thought of obtaining the easiest one among them, i.e., knowledge. For that, he planned to first gather primary knowledge from the books in the town library, then commit pilgrimage in search of knowledge and ways to accomplish his other goals.

He wanted to be physically fit and wanted to have a powerful background to escape bullying, and the most important of his goals was training. He wanted to have real-life battle experience and be well versed training to compatibly combine his knowledge, physical capabilities, and magical abilities to defend himself in any unexpected situations.

After playing with Kuro, deciding his plans, he bid farewell to Kuro, Noah heads home. After reaching home, he sees his mother getting the dining table ready for dinner. He helps her, and they both wait for Raily to return home.

After about half an hour of waiting, Raily returns from work.

Raily opens the door and says, "Guys, I am back."

Maria says, "Welcome back, honey."

Noah says, "Welcome back, dad."

Raily says, "Guys, I have good news for you both."

Filled with curiosity, Maria and Noah start asking him what the good news is.

Raily says with excitement, "We are all going to the capital, and we are staying there for three months."

Maria and Noah got happy and asked Raily to explain more in detail. Raily says that they are going to be staying in the capital for his merchant association meeting and regarding some important matters regarding his merchant group, "Black Cat of the Dawn."

Raily proudly says, "As I am the leader of both the Merchant Association-Leo and the Merchant Group Black Cat of the Dawn,I have to be present at the meeting that is about to be held in the capital of the continent, "Yozora," so we are going to stay in a mansion arranged by the merchant association for three months and finish all the formalities slowly."

(A merchant association is a group of allied merchant groups that help each other and have a relationship of mutual gain. Currently, there are only 12 merchant associations existing on the continent that are recognized by the king, and these 12 merchant associations are known as "The Zodiacs.")

Noah and Maria ask him when they are going to make their departure from here. Raily says that they are going to leave by the start of the next month.

After saying this, Raily sits with them to eat dinner. They finish their dinner and head to bed.

The whole week passed by almost normally with nothing special, but now it was the weekend. Noah was standing in front of the library.

He stared at its massiveness and was amazed by it, but after he came back to his senses, he entered the library.
