The mysteries of kuro and Stregato

After deciding to visit the library by the weekend, Noah was bored. He thought about what he could do in his free time now, and he suddenly remembered that he hadn't visited Stregato in the past couple of days and decided to go there. As he says, "It's been about a week. I haven't checked on how Kuro has been. Guess I'll visit Stregato."

( Stregato, also known as "The Forest of Death," was the forest that was located near the town where Noah lived. It was filled with monsters. Yes, this world has monsters. Some have a horrifying and traumatizing appearance, while others are adorable; some are wild beasts; and some are tamed pets, but either way, they would be considered creatures of fantasy on our earth. There are various races of monsters, and these monsters are commonly differentiated by their race and level of threat. )

After thinking about this, Noah heads towards the entrance of the town. About half an hour after leaving the town, Noah reached the outer region of Stregato.

( The forests in this world have weird yet special features, i.e., they are divided into a minimum of two regions: the inner and outer regions.

Outer region: this region doesn't consist of monsters and is safe for humans to explore. This region is mainly used for collecting firewood and grazing livestock.

Inner region: this region consists of several monsters of various races with a low level of threat, mainly because they tend to mob in a specific area, and around them, some of the monsters evolve into lower-class emperor beasts and rule a particular region.

but Stregato has three regions in it. It has an additional region called the core, which is very dangerous as it is filled with several lower-class emperor beasts, and from these lower-class beasts, some evolve into upper-class beasts. They say these monsters could destroy three towns without effort within a day.)

Noah has a cave base situated in the deeper part of the outer region of Stregato, near the border between the inner and outer regions. When he reaches the cave, a white wolf with majestic golden eyes comes running towards him and jumps on him.

Noah says, "Kuro, stop. You will get dirt on my dress."

(Yes, the Kuro Noah was talking about was this white wolf.)

Noah thinks about how he first met Kuro.

On a weekend when Noah was about four years old, he accompanied his father in collecting firewood.

He accidentally goes deeper into the outer region, where he sees a small wolf pup hurt pretty badly. He carries it and rushes to his father. After seeing the wolf, his father said, "This pup is in a pretty bad condition; we have to hurry and give it first aid." After saying this, he takes the wolf in his hand, and they both rush towards their home.

Maria was sitting in the living room knitting clothes when suddenly Raily rushed in with a wolf pup. Raily said, "Maria quickly gave first aid to this little guy." Maria quickly started treating the little pup's wounds, and after treating them, they took care of them for about a week until it recovered.

Noah wanted to keep it, but his parents strongly rejected it and convinced him to leave it in the forest again. He didn't want to leave, but due to his parents, he took it to the forest when he left it in the place where he found it.

The wolf started to make wild movements; it was as if it told Noah to follow it. He understood it and followed it. They both started to head deeper into the forest, and before he knew it, Noah was already at the beginning of the inner region. The wolf led him to a place that seemed to be the settlement of its pack.

But what Noah saw were piles of dead wolves that looked similar to the little wolf. Noah started puking from seeing this many corpses; even in his previous life, he didn't see this many corpses. Then the little wolf further led him to a certain place, where he reached a certain two wolves and broke into tears. Noah understood that it was the little wolf's parents.

After it calmed down, they both prayed for the wolves, and Noah, with his full effort and with the help of the little wolf, dug two pits and buried the little wolf's parents.

Now that he knew that the wolf had no place to go, he decided to raise it in secret. When he was returning from the inner region, he saw a cave and thought it would be a perfect secret hideout and would be a good place to hide the little wolf.

Now that he had found a good place to raise the little wolf, he started to think of a good name for it. After much long thinking he named it Kuro, which means black in Japanese. As he was obsessed with anime and manga, he thought of this name when he saw how the black pupil in the center of its golden eyes looked magnificent.
