Chapter 9: She is Beautiful

_Noah's Pov_

Once I arrived home, I told Penelope to make some pastries and get some ice cream. It would serve as dessert for me.

I headed to my room for a quick bath so I could get some rest before four. However, I could not sleep.

I kept tossing around the bed with Zaria image invading my every thought. I decided I move to the study room but even at that, I could still see her.

Waking out of my study room, I went straight to the bathroom which had a connecting door.

I collapsed on the bed and forced myself to sleep.

My phone rang out, which had me waking up. It was my alarm. Seeing the time got me agitated in the worse way possible. Why was she giving me many sleepless nights?

I got ready and waited in my office. Finally. 4p m was here.

Where did hell was she? I pondered afraid she might not show up.

A few minutes later, I heard the door from down the stairs open which caused my heart to yelp for joy. It was her.

She was here.
