Chapter 8: Netflix and Chill With a Spice of Girls Time

_Zaria’s Pov_

Shortly after, we arrived at my new place.

“Girl! What is the name of this street?” I asked Kate as wer both came down from the car.

“Adams Street,” she said smiling from ear to ear. I could feel the energy of happiness radiating from where Kate stood. However, I knew Kate so well to know her smile was not complete.

Something was up with her.

Caleb handed the key to me before he went into the car to wait for Kate.

I went right straight into the small gate, which was provided as a barricade. Although I did notice each house had different colors.

Excitement bubbled me as she stood in front of the door to my new life.

Holding in the excitement, I did, and suddenly Kate shouted in excitement “Get on to it.”

“Yes!” I said while I went further to slide the key unto the lock.
