NOT A COINCIDENCE

Great! Olive and I just get here and already strange things are happening. What is the meaning of this?! I hope she had a peaceful night though I highly doubt she had a peaceful morning because her room is also in Sky rooms. Markus showed me to my class and he left only to come back about ten minutes later, interrupting the lesson, only to tell me that Olive is the 'possessed girl'. I run out of the classroom with him and on our way to the dorm we run into Br Michael.

"Where are the two of you going this fine school packed morning?" he asked stressing the word school.

"We were on our way to see Olive Rogers. We heard she had an accident this morning." Markus explained as calmly as he could.

Br Michael looked at my panicked expression and then took a small white sheet of paper were he wrote: Pass to girls' dormitorium. He handed it to me and then took it back to add a number two probably to show that it was for the both of us. He also added two hours at the bottom and off Markus and I went. We saw shorty go into a room and instantly knew that it was obviously Olives room. I heard Elise say something to Vee but paid no attention to it and barged in followed by Markus who looked pale.

She had a few scratches on her face and cracked lips and the whole sight made my heart ache. I asked if she was alright and to my surprise she said she wasn't and that everything was hurting. I spoke to her for a little while but we will interrupted by Sr Drevin who walked in with an old man who she identified as the doctor, Mr Buffers.

Markus and I were told to leave the room along with Maria. But the both of us decided to stay back while Maria was the only one who actually obeyed Sr Drevin's orders. When Sr Drevin opened the door for Mr buffers to leave, she was shocked to find us still standing at the door but she let us go in anyway.

We stayed with Olive a little while longer but after two hours we had to leave because our past had expired and we would be liable for punishment if found in the girls dormitorium. I could not bear the thought of leaving Olive alone like that so after leaving when we met Sr Drevin going back to the girls dormitorium. I decided to follow her because I knew she was going to be taking Olive to the clinic so that she could have a proper examination. I pleaded with her to let me follow her and she eventually let me come along because I could help carry Olive. She had been unable to move when we had seen her earlier so Sr Drevin could not just walk Olive to the clinic but had to carry her.

Somehow when we got to the room Olive was standing by the window and honestly she looked better but the relief was short-lived because she started choking on air. I rushed towards her, took her in to my arms and run out even though I had no idea where I was taking her. The only thing that was on my mind was clinic but after going far I realized that I had no idea where the clinic was. Luckily Markus had followed behind me and he showed me where the clinic was. We couldn't stay long with Olive because she had to rest and even if we did she was unconscious the whole time. When we did leave I felt my heart feel heavy. That attack on me and Marcus was not a coincidence and neither was this whole possession thing with Olive. It was as if the two attacks were meant for the two of us. It is not possible for this to just be a coincidence I have to get to the bottom of this and some part of me tells me that Elise knows something. I do not trust her one bit.

The drama that had happened throughout the day had had my mind preoccupied and I had not even thought about what would happen tonight once we where in our dorm but I will not start worring about that right now because we still have prep and dinner.

During prep I did not do any thing productive because I kept staring at the Elise and I know she knows that I'm looking at her. After prep, I rushed after her and stopped her before she could leave to go to her room.

"What is the matter?" she asked me calmly when I grabbed her arm and drag her to a quiet a place,

"You know what happened with Olive, don't you."

"Yes I know what happened to her. She got possessed." she said calmly and it annoyed me even further,

"Don't you dare say that about my sister."

"She was in possessed. You were not there so why are you so sure besides she can't even say the Lord's Prayer so it's likely that she was possessed."

"She was not possessed you little short sack of sadness and depression."

"Name calling is also considered bullying Mr Rogers."

"Call me a bully if you want me to but you say my sister is possessed and I will hit you."

"Threatening a fellow student, that's another offense Mr Rogers."

"I don't care, shorty, just tell me what you did to Olive."

She seemed a little amused by defiance and it brought a smile to her face. I looked straight into her eyes that had a strange glow of joy in them and it made me press her harder against the wall. She groaned as her smile faded and then she managed to turn me and pin me to the wall with strength that no one would know she possessed.

"Listen Ollie, your sister has crossed paths with someone she was not supposed to and I am trying my best to help her. I'll tell you what I told her, stay out of trouble."

"Who is it? I'll teach them a lesson they will never forget." I said between my teeth.

"The girl has already learnt a hard lesson and she hasn't forgotten it but you know what...." she stopped as if expecting an answer from me then she continued,"...she is still bad."

Is the cause of Olive's condition a witch?

"What are you doing here?" I heard Markus ask.

He was standing a little bit behind Elise but I hadn't seen him because I was looking at her. Beside him was a sullen looking Maria. Elise released me and walked away, her long hair fluttering in the evening breeze. I looked back at Markus and Maria and moved closer to them.

"She was asking me to stay out of trouble, nothing much." I told them.

"Did she have to be that close to you?" Maria asked.

"Ask her. I was also surprised by the closeness." I defended myself.

"Just think about what would have happened to you two if Sr Drevin or Br Michael had been in our place." Markus warned and I nodded.

"Let go and eat. We are already late." Maria said starting to walk away.

I looked where Elise had disappeared to and thought about what she had said and then I followed Markus and Maria to the cafeteria. Dinner was peaceful which made it easy to fully taste the poorly cooked food and poorly processed fruit juice. I tried my best to eat as much as I could but the thought of Olive sleeping all alone in the clinic tightened my stomach and I ate less. When we separated from Maria after dinner, I noticed how worried Markus looked. He kept looking in the direction of the clinic even more than I did and my heart went out to him.

"I didn't think you actually liked her that much already." I said and Markus shot me a sad smile.

"I didn't think so too. But here I am... wondering how she's doing."

There was a moment of silence after that and for the rest of the way to our dorm it was just us exchanging sighs. When we got to our floor the first thing I noticed was the door to Markus' room that had been replaced. We moved some of our things back in there and went to the bathroom. I guess I was just too worried about Vee to pay enough attention to anything else. On any other normal day I would have been alarmed that the bathroom seemed foggy.

"Let's get some rest so we can see Liv in the morning." Markus said.

"Hey Mark, do you think this place is a little foggy?" I asked and this made Markus looked around.

"Let's go and sleep. I don't think I can handle any more scares."

"Yeah. Let's go."

We left the bathroom and walked quickly to Markus' room, ignoring the tapping sounds that erupted from the bathroom were we had come from.
