Ava got up rubbing her aching butt.
"I tell you, you should just date him for good. What's the use in kissing without being official. If you just date him, you will also enjoy privileges in bed too." Ava winked at Jennifer, who completely ignored her.
"I will not." Jennifer made her way towards the patio, which was located opposite the bed.
"I have work to do, you know that I am still an employee in Sidon. You shower till then I will complete my work."
"Sure." Ava was a little disappointed, as she couldn't convince Jennifer to date Emmett.
'I forgot to take their photo just now. Sigh, what should I do now? How will I convince them to date each other? More of I have to convince Alissa, as cousin is ready to date her. Should I just take them directly to the bed? That would be my last approach, if Alissa does not agree to date cousin.' Ava thought while making her way towards the bathroom.
After the bathroom door closed, Jennifer opened her laptop. Alissa had sent her few emails as well as some photos, three days ago.
The emails were related to Felix case and Lefen unit, whereas the photos were of the man she had met in the alley.
He had a hole in his forehead, and lay dead in his room. Alissa had messaged her,
[Alissa: Oh my!! sis Amy, how did you know that he will commit suicide. You are really something, way too super-duper brilliant. Anyway, I have already had his family shifted to a new place, they are safe there.]
[Jennifer: That's good then.]
After replying her message, Jennifer first opened the email regarding Lefen unit.
After reading through the information, her eyes dangerously narrowed.
'Lucifer.'
The most dangerous devil in the underworld. No one was aware of his real name, nor his real face. He was like a Satan, hence everyone called him Lucifer.
Lucifer's men had broken in the Lefen unit's secret panel.
Even though he was a man from the underworld, he never did anything wrong, like killing the innocent people. He also never did anything illegal. He only killed the ones who were in the wrong, such as the groups like child trafficking, drugs smuggling, etc. His motto was that 'he had never attacked the ones who did not attacked him first.'
'Why did his men broke in through the secret panel then?' Jennifer was perplexed.
Did her men provoked him by any chance?
It was a clear headache for her now.
She did not want to go against him at any cost.
Jennifer messaged Leo,
[Jennifer: Was there recently any movement by our people from Lefen?]
Shortly his reply came,
[Leo: Yes. They had gone to Italy just after you returned. They had also brought a map with them. But I did not know anything about it and hence kept it in the secret panel, which was recently ambushed by some people. The CCTV footage was also destroyed.]
[Jennifer: Why didn't you let me know? What were you thinking by keeping it hidden from me, for such a long time?]
[Leo: Sigh, I tried contacting you, but was unable to and also I got to know about these things just the day before, the ambush took place.There was a problem in the network in Los Angeles. I just happen to land back in Paris and the first one I contacted was you. Actually I think that the group destroyed our network connection. I had just bought a new phone. The old one was hacked, I suppose.]
[Jennifer: Throw the old one in a remote place, or somewhere in a river. It will not be good to use that anymore.]
[Leo: Okay.]
