Chapter 17 (Bad Information)

"What are you waiting for Kid? Try giving me your best shot. I should at least give you a chance to throw a punch maybe that way you can understand the huge difference between us."

Big Joe felt extremely confident that Kyle wasn't still a match for him even though Kyle was able to defeat all of his subordinates. Big Joe carelessly gave Kyle the chance to attack first without guarding himself, thinking Kyle's attack would only do minimal damage to him.

Kyle didn't care if he was being underestimated by Big Joe. He shamelessly took the opportunity and dashed towards Big Joe and aimed his fist at his chest.

Big Joe was thrown away by the impact of Kyle's punch immediately after it collided with his chest. He flew backwards with a high degree of force causing him to crash through the wall and land in another room.

As Big Joe lay on the ground, it took a few seconds for him to regain his senses. It would have taken more than that amount of time or maybe he would be unconscious by now if he hadn't reacted on time to put up a defense when he felt the intensity of Kyle's fist that was flying towards him.

The first fight Kyle was involved in after awakening, he broke a lot of bones because he was unaware of the level of his physical strength. However, it was thanks to his high mentality that he had been able to control the amount of force he used when he fought. This allowed him to avoid killing anyone or causing any life-threatening injuries to his opponents.

Kyle was also a bit surprised by the result of his punch this time because it was the first time he had punched someone through a wall with just his pure strength and without using any extra ability.

Big Joe's size and weight were not average. Therefore, Kyle had decided to put a little more strength into his attack when he punched Big joe, but the results were more than he expected. "I guess I'm still stronger than I think" Kyle thought to himself and walked towards where Big Joe had landed.

Big Joe slowly dragged himself up from the ground because he could sense Kyle approaching him. He struggled a little bit because his chest was sore. He was lucky that he had enough flesh that prevented Kyle's fist from reaching his bone.

"You don't look so good Big Joe or I should call you Small Joe instead." Kyle mocked.

"Ha, I think I underestimated your power and I made a mistake by letting my guard down. So from this moment onwards I'm going to fight you seriously because you're about to witness how big I can get." Big Joe responded to Kyle's taunt which irked him a lot.

Big Joe's aura intensified as he grew twice his original size.

Normally, most people would be intimidated by Big Joe's current ginormous look and aura but Kyle remained unfazed by either.

"Hahaha! Tell me how small do you think I'm now, you cocky brat?" Big Joe boasted."You thought because of that one lucky punch there was a chance that you could actually beat me." He said as he looked down on Kyle who was now significantly smaller in terms of size compared to him.

"You don't look any different to me. In reality, you just became a much larger overweight pig and a very annoying nuisance." Kyle casually remarked.

"Bastard." Big Joe roared furiously and attacked Kyle. As Big Joe launched his massive fist at Kyle's face, Kyle evaded by shifting his face to the side, making Big Joe miss his target.

In response, Kyle also launched his fist at Big Joe's rib, which successfully struck it. In reaction to the pain Big Joe was forced to bend down, creating another opening for Kyle to strike his face which was unguarded with another punch.

Big Joe stumbled backwards while covering his bleeding nose that was broken because of Kyle's punch. "You stupid son of a bitch, I'm gonna kill you today." Big Joe rushed towards Kyle in rage.

Kyle continued to evade and counterattack Big Joe who was furiously swinging his arm in order to catch him.

The damage Big Joe sustained quickly made him tired and weak. His massive weight caused him to move slowly compared to Kyle's swift movements and because Big Joe relentlessly tried to catch Kyle, he quickly ran out of stamina.

"Stop running you goddamn rat." Big Joe shouted as he stopped chasing Kyle around to catch his breath.

Kyle ignored Big Joe's tantrum. He leapt up into the air and threw his fist towards Big Joe which connected to his jaw leading to an uppercut.

Big Joe's body was lifted off the ground after the impact of Kyle's fist against his jaw. He was thrown up into the air by the force of that attack until his body recoiled back to the ground a short distance away from Kyle.

Kyle immediately climbed onto Big Joe's body and started raining down heavy punches on his face until Big Joe's face was completely disfigured and bloodied.

"Are you ready to tell me where my mother is?" Kyle held Big Joe by the collar of his shirt as he asked in anger.

"Ugh... you crazy bastard, you're never going to find her" Big Joe answered while groaning in pain.

"Oh really?" Kyle grabbed Big Joe's arm and lit it up in flames.

As Kyle burned one of his arms, Big Joe pleaded in tears, "Arrgh...Arrgh...Stop...Stop...Stop...just stop, I'll talk."

"Speak now." Kyle yelled.

"I don't...I don't have her, I don't have your mother." Big Joe confessed.

Kyle's eyes widened in shock at Big Joe's response, but they immediately turned to fury."What do you mean? Are you still trying to mess with me?" Kyle said with a frown and attempted to burn Big Joe's hand again.

"No..No..No..I'm fucking serious Kyle. I really don't know where your mother is or what her current location is." Big Joe begged when Kyle was about to burn his arm again.

"But the other stall owners explained that the thugs that took her this morning said you sent them to use her as a scapegoat. So tell me the truth now before I completely lose my cool." Kyle warned.

"It's a lie and I was framed. I did indeed send my men to kidnap Natasha but the informant spying on her gave my subordinates the wrong information which made them lose Natasha. It can't be just a coincidence that the same day I planned this operation was also the same day your mother was taken by some other thugs." Big Joe frantically explained to Kyle in fear of not pissing him off.

"Then who did it? Tell me everything." Kyle asked.

"I don't know yet. I was in the middle of interrogating the informant before you barged into the room. But it seems like we've both been misinformed." Big Joe answered again.

"Fucking tell me who this informant is now, pig?" Kyle roared anxiously.

"Brute...Brute...that was his name. He was still inside the lounge before we began fighting." Big Joe pointed toward the direction of the lounge with his other arm.

Kyle also recalled that he saw someone kneeling in front of Big Joe when he walked into the lounge. However, he didn't pay any attention to whoever that person was because his focus was on Big Joe. Several days ago, he defeated Brute, who used to be the second-in-command of the thugs who invaded his mother's business.

"That sneaky lowlife" Kyle muttered as he looked towards the lounge. He shifted his gaze back to Big Joe. "You better be telling me the truth right this moment or else I'm gonna make sure that I cripple you if I eventually find out that you wasted my time or tried to trick me Joe."

Kyle stood off Big Joe's body and hurriedly headed back to the lounge to find Brute. However, when he stepped into the lounge, Brute was no longer anywhere to be found inside the room.

He rushed down the stairs back to the dance floor but Brute was still nowhere to be found. "Shit" Kyle cursed before rushing out of the club to the parking lot, which was also empty.

However, Kyle could see the light of a bike moving on the freeway at a distance from where he was standing and he didn't need to guess that it was Brute trying to escape from the scene.

"That sly and cunning fox, there is absolutely no way that you're able to escape from me tonight."

Although Brute had already traveled a far distance from Kyle's current location. However, Kyle was fully confident in his speed that he would still catch up to him.
