"Now that you're done sulking, can you finally report what you learned from the mission I assigned you?" Emily asked Vixie, lying on the couch.
She was thinking about the past, even though it's the last thing she wanted to do, but it was fine as long as memories of her don't surface.
She turned her head slightly and looked towards Vixie who sat on the coffee table, with a sulking expression on her face, visibly annoyed. She watched as she took a deep breath.
"Master, can I ask you something?" Vixie said.
"Go ahead," Emily replied, though she silently thought, 'Even though I asked a question first.'
"Are you planning on having a harem?"
Emily sat up abruptly, her eyes wide. "What in the devil's name put that ridiculous idea in your head?"
