Language Barrier

Finally, Alec couldn't bear the boredom anymore. He went to Fox's tent to inform him that he was going out, but there was no one there.

What was worse was that John was missing. Alec frowned and looked around, but the duo wasn't in the settlement.

Normally, he wouldn't care about them, but John was the backbone of the game, and if he dies or is missing before the end of the mission, that would spell trouble for him.

Now that he was the only one in the settlement, he didn't see any reason for him to stay here any further. Packing up his food items, he placed them on the Streamliner and drove away.

Driving during the time of the war was risky, so he didn't plan to drive long. Separating himself from the camp with twenty miles between them, he packed the car in a nearby cave and stuffed as much food as he could, while leaving the rest as a backup.

With the car and resources secured, he began his journey on foot, heading towards the still-standing part of the country.
