As promised

Alpha Adam POV

The new day came and as the sun shined in my face I looked down to see if Athena was still with me or if I had been dreaming. She still laid in my arms with her head on my chest breathing ever so softly. I didn't want to move and wake her up, but unfortunately I got some news from my Beta that I didn't like. MY Beta and Gamma came to help pack Athena's things and when they came on the property they found that It was Thorn... he came on the property with a few of his rogue pack members.

I moved ever so gently and kissed A sleepy Athena as I promised to return. I turned in the doorway to make sure she was still asleep and hesitated leaving for a minute. I knew the sooner I got this over with and the sooner I could go back to my mate. I finally reached the front porch when I growled at the sight of Thorn. What do you want I growled out at Thorn.

"I was hoping you were going to be smart and give me Athena, but now I see your just as dumb as her father. She will be mine." , Stated Thorn.

My pack members standing around him on high alert. I alerted more pack members to come help us and watch to make sure that Thorn was gone. I waited till Thorn was out of sight to have a few pack members check on Athena's dad. I could not believe how stupid this guy was. I just couldn't live with my self if my mates dad was killed. She had lost so many people in her life that I couldn't stand her having anymore losses. With the threat of Thorn I sent three wolves to look in on Athena's dad to start with, hoping that nothing would be wrong.

I watched as three members of my pack set off in the direction I had sent them in. They got faster and faster. Before they knew it the members were scanning the land for any tace of life. When they saw none they split up and began looking for Alpha Ron. Sapphira ran and ran till she heard what sounded like a tractor. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw him pull his gun on her. She changed her eyes from a greenish blue eye color to blue like the ocean and he figured this was no ordinary wolf. Sapphira shifted and just like her wolf she had pretty silver hair.

"Uhh..... May I ask what your doing on my property young lady?," asked Alpha Ron.

"Yeee...ssss.. sir.... I'm sorry to disturb you but we had a visitor this morning you might know. Thorn was his name. I came to warn you that he is coming after you next. He wants Athena. He wont stop till all who has denied him are gone." replied Sapphira.

Mind linked that Alpha Ron was safe and packing his things and coming to spend a couple of days on our property and making arrangements for his property I told him to bring anything he didn't want left behind. Athena was still asleep so I of course loaded all her things and then carried her to the car. I had my Beta take my truck home and ai road in the car with me gamma.

A few hours later to my surprise when he showed up he only had maybe several things with him. One of them being Athena's dresser he had bought her mother long ago. My heart ached at knowing the meaning behind that and I still couldn't figure out why she left it their. I asked him if we could move it into our closet and surprise her and to my surprise he lifted it with no trouble on his own. He knew how delicate this dresser was and how much it tore her to have to leave it not realizing there would be enough room for it.

He knew it would cheer her up, and couldn't wait till she saw it. It was still early in the day and after showing where Alpha Ron could stay and move the rest of his things into the room, I decided to curl back up with Athena. When I got back she was still so sleepy but woke up only enough to cuddle back up with me. Thank goodness and I smelled her soft rain with a hint of cherry and vanilla I started to doze off into a blissful sleep with her.

In the midst of the dark forest I walked forward seeing a white bright light. The closer I got the more I could see a beautiful long slender woman who looked a lot like Athena. She softly spoke " Hi Alpha Adam, you are seeing me as I am I was once Athena's Mom Mysteria. I have now joined my sister the moon goddess. My daughter has powers she does not realize. They will be shared with her mate, and that you are.

As her father may have told you she is a rare wolf that can Unite all wolves from rogues to packs. Once this has happened you both will be blessed double the reward deserved. None greater than to be parents. Please love her as I have all these years from above and know that one day when she passes she will join us here if she chooses to," said Mysteria.

He sat up quickly after the dream and began to feel around for Athena but she was gone. He jumped out of bed in a panic when he just stopped all of a sudden when he heard her. He could hear the water falling in the shower as she sang in the shower. Once he heard her voice he began to calm down and started getting around for the rest of his day. As promised I would keep her safe.

I not only promised her father, but I promised her mother who also just so happened to be a moon goddess now. Now knowing just how special she is I decided to tighten up security. I called Alpha Ron, my Bata, and gamma to meet me in my office in about 20 minutes. I was going to keep my promise even if it killed me. As Promised I decided to tell Athena what was happening so I could protect her.

Once she was on the same page as me. We met the others in my office. I intend to keep my promise to Athena, Athena's mother, and her father. We made a joint decision on how we could keep my aluna safe and my wolf calm. She is one person I would not give up on ever. I loved her and would do whatever it took to keep her safe.
