8. Unusual customers (2)

This time Vivian could see their faces clearly, the majestic looking faces that were hidden under the caps, are now revealed. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒐 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒏 𝒔𝒐 𝒔𝒎𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒉, 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒆-

She looked at the woman who looked very young and she had nicely sharp cat like eyes that had the colour resembling the deep blues of the ocean and her glossy pink lips...which adds up to the beauty of hers. She wasn't too intimidating and she was taller than Vivian by some cm.

The man besides the woman looked fairly young too and he was charming, a defined jawline and with eagle like eyes...he had eyes that were amethyst purple like and the two make a perfect couple. Especially when the man is a head taller than the woman, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏~

She couldn't see the hair much since they were fully covered but she did had a slight glimpse of the womans hair, it was a shade of white yet it looks like silver too. 𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒚~ 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓.

"Ahem..."

"Oh I'm sorry but yeah, the shop owner should be here somewhere, maybe you can wait for a while?" She snapped out of her admiration stares and smiled kindly at the two.

"Thank you..." they thanked her as they continued doing what they're were doing before, looking around the shop.

Though they were kind, pretty and handsome but she still couldn't get why would they need to wear clothes that are covering their bodies and head like they were thieves running away from the police... 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒅...

Vivian continued her things and remembered about her puppy, 𝒐𝒉 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒑𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒚? She looked around the shop and raised her eyebrows as she didn't see the puppy anywhere. 𝑮𝒐𝒅, 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒊𝒕 𝒓𝒖𝒏 𝒐𝒇𝒇 𝒕𝒐?

The shop wasn't too big nor too small, so finding a puppy should be easy but there isn't a puppy in sight. She looked around the aisle in the shop and sighed. She wanted to find Jaxon to ask about her puppy when she heard a bark coming from the front of the store.

Vivian walked towards the sound and it was the two couple from before. They were standing around by the front of the store and the woman was holding onto the puppy. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒊𝒕...?

She didn't know whether if she should step any closer to them and ask for her puppy back or just watch from a distance. She decided to just watch from a distance instead, the two seemed to know the puppy, from how they are so close with it.

What should I do now...Vivian looked away and looked back at the turtle container. It was not long until she felt a soft touch around her legs, she looked down and saw the puppy circling around her, happily wagging its tail.

"Hey buddy, you came back to me~" Vivian smiled, picking up the puppy and cuddled it close to her. It Licked her face, making her giggle.

The two couples looked at her with a expression which was unreadable from a distant, she peeked over at them and gave them a small smile.

"Ah hello Mr and Mrs! What brings you guys here today?" Jaxon's voice could be heard echoing in the shop as it sounded out of the blue. The two walked to the front of the counter and started chatting with him while Vivian minded her own business.

Well or so she thought...the three were whispering secretly but she could maybe guess that they weren't talking about pet stuff but instead, they were talking about her. Vivian pretended that she didn't hear them and continued doing what she initially was doing.

Vivian felt small glances from them as they spoke, staring at her but she tried ignoring the stares but it was like fire burning a hole through her. 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒆 𝑰 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒎...

Vivian stood up and took the puppy in her arms, wanting to go home. As she had her hand on the door, a small force stopped her from opening the door and she couldn't move.

"Vivian, don't go yet!"

"Harh?" The force faded away and she turned to Jaxon, the two couple were also looking straight at her. She didn't know what they possibly could have wanted from her, 𝑰 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒅.

She went towards the three and stood in front of them. There was a awkward silence before the woman said something which she couldn't get a grasp of.

"What did you say? I'm sorry."

"That puppy...it's yours?"

"Oh, I found it at the park nearby~" Vivian smiled, petting the puppy on the head. 𝑺𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍.

She wanted to open her mouth and ask about them seeing the puppy but nothing came out, it felt like something was preventing her from asking.

"Oh um, please accept this from us." The man took out something from his hoodie pocket and handed it to Vivian. It was a small ring that had a crown shaped design on it, making it seem unique.

Vivian has never seen those kind of rings before other than those typical ones you can find in the town, either gold, silver or rose gold in colour.

With small designs of either a diamond or small diamonds on the ring, there were some heart shaped ones but the diamond ones were more expensive since women in the world likes it.

"W-why are you giving this to me. I'm sorry but I can't accept this." Vivian rejected the small ring, it looked really expensive and it was a unique rare design she had never seen before.

"It's okay, my dear. Just take it, take it as a small gift for a pretty girl like you~" The woman held out Vivians hands and put on the ring for her, smiling.

Vivian didn't know what to say to her for the sudden kindness of the gift, "t-thank you...?" She thanked the woman with a awkward smile.

"I'll get going back to my dorm, I'll see you guys next time and thank you again." Vivian smiled, she didn't want to stay any longer so she quickly smiled at the three and headed out the shop. 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒅𝒂𝒚...

Once she got out of the shop, she walked back to the park while admiring the ring on her finger, it was indeed pretty. The ring was gold in colour that seemed to shine brighter than the sun.

"This is pretty isn't it puppy~?" She smiled as the puppy barked, seemingly like it agreed with her on the ring. 𝑺𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒂 𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈...𝒊𝒕 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒂 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔.

Vivian walked around the park a while more before she heard her phone ringed. She put the puppy down and took out her phone and answered the call.

Jennie : Where are you? I've ordered food for the both of us.

Vivian : I'm on the way home?

Jennie : Yeah on the way home, your maybe just taking a stroll and return home 30 minutes later...

Vivian : Well if you know already then don't need to ask the same questions.

Jennie : I- Okay fine, just get home safely okay? Don't make the food wait.

Vivian : Yes I will mom~

Jennie : You-

Vivian hung up before Jennie could yell at her through the phone, Jennie disliked being called mom as to her it made her feel old. 𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆...

As soon as she said that, the street lamps turned on, lighting up the street paths, making it brighter. She looked at the time and it was nearly 7pm, 𝒐𝒌𝒂𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆...𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝑰 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒏?

"Let's go puppy~ before that bear at home will start roaring at us." Vivian joked to herself, laughing as she made her way home with the puppy walking besides her.
