The Start of Something……….Weird

Foreign Lands

A Desert

The monotony of this parched wilderness was difficult to explain. It was crucible of death, a bone-dry basin of vastness and death. The immensity of it burned would burn the mortal brain, visual relief to mortals being spiny cactus of jumping cholla bush.

As far as the eye could see, everything was being roasted and sautéed with the same intensity. A cruel sun hang in the sky, cooking anything and everything.

And yet, civilization emerged here. Just like the Far East, West, North and South, many gods and goddesses were worshipped.

Peoples of dark brown and black skin celebrated in a palace of worship. They danced, played music, offered food and burned incense. A seated lady with a lions head sat in stone, a statue they offered they worship to.

"PRAISE TO SEKHMET! MISTRESS OF DREAD, SHE WHO MAULS!!!" The dark skinned people reverberated throughout the palace.

The seated lady was a interesting sight. She had the body pf woman from their lands but she had a lions head. They worshipped her as she was Bloodthirsty and vengeful but she was also the one who adverted desolation and plague.

However, for all their praises and worshipping, she was not paying attention. In the Celestial Heliopolis, the home of the Egyptian God and Goddesses, a storm was brewing.

*RRROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR* Sekhmet, The Lion-Headed Goddess, bellowed out in a seismic rage. Her roar shook the pocket dimension as the rest of the gods and goddesses attended to their own doings. "WHO WOULD DARE?!?" She yelled once more. Only moments ago did she feel some of her worshipers and her own holy place disappear in the foreign lands.

Even though she might not have cared for mortals, to destroy a place of her's is a thing of ultimate audaciousness!

"What has happened, Dear Sister? Another mortal besmirching your name? How adorable." A silky voice wormed its way into the lion-faced goddess.

"YOUR WORDS ARE NOT NEEDED!" The hateful voice of her sister, Sekhmet, roared from her abode. Bast, the Cat Goddess had always found pleasure in infuriating her sister. "HOW ABOUT YOU HO PLAY WITH THOSE UNCULTURED SAVAGES YOU LIKE SO MUCH!!" At her words, Bast's smirk faded.

"As if your followers dont wish they were mine."

"FALSE! THEY WOULDN'T DARE BETRAY ME!"

"They already do."

Fury came easy to Sekhmet, the bodily goddess had many tantrums and and rages that she later regretted but this one, this one she knew would haunt her dreams but she could not stop it. She disappeared from the dimension in a instant, startling her sister, "Sister?…..-" Bast called out. Although it may not seem like it, she loved her sister with all her heart and she knew how she could get worked up. "Where did you go?" Bast said as she reached for her divinity and spread it all over the lands of Egypt.

She couldn't locate her. "D-dont tell me. Has she gone to another land?" Bast muttered to herself in fear and foreboding.

"WHERE HAS SHE GONE?!?" Horus, in all his might, belched from the inside of the pocket dimension, shaking the foundations. He had obviously heard the goddess yell and scream out of nowhere but this was not normal. For her to disappear from his senses was not a good thing.

The Throneroom of Olympus

Zeus, sitting in his throne with regal swag waved his hand. In a quick gathering of clouds, Maegor appeared in the middle of the room, his chiton was colored with putrid browns and bilious greens with gleaming, golden, greek letterings around his wrist and legs.

The half of his chest, visible to the gods without seeing through the chiton, was appealing to them, even Zeus, Apollo and Dionysius licked their lips at the sight of it. "WE, THE ENTIRETY OF OLYMPUS HAVE GATHERED HERE TO WELCOME AND SAY FARE WELL TO THIS YOUNG IN FRONT OF US!!!-" Zeus shook his head and exclaimed to the gods. Everyone was here to see him off, even the minor gods, goddesses, minor titans and titanesses still upon olympus.

"MAEGOR, MAEGOR, MAEGOR!!!" The heavens of Greece cracked at their chant. They all roared with ecstatic glee, some happy to see him gone, some excited to hear of his tales with alien gods.

Maegor looked around at them. Almost surprised by what he was receiving.

It took some time for the chanting to stop. "Helios!-" Zeus shouted to a corner in the room. Out stepped the Titan of The Sun. He was as bronze as the celestial body he spent his time with would allow. His eyes flared with brilliant fire. "You shall escort Maegor to his first planet then you shall return to us, am I clear?"

Helios nodded vigorously, eager to gain some clout with the king of the gods. Zeus nodded back, swing his arms, teleporting Helios and Maegor to the Sun Chariot. "Lord Maegor, an honor." Helios gave a shallow bow. Maegor gave one back before sensing something.

The feeling of restrained thunder. The simple smell of Ozone. He looked back to the approaching sense.

From a distance he saw another chariot, one being pulled by two goats that ran on the sky.

"MY FRIEND!"

A familiar voice called out to Maegor, 'Thor?' He asked himself. And sure enough did he see the flowing, golden hair of the Thunder God.

"MY FRIEND! I HAVE COME TO ACCOMPANY YOU!" He yelled, still far away. Maegor chuckled to himself quietly before looking to Helios, seeing the Sun Titan's confusion.

"I guess you're not needed, Helios, please return to Olympus." He told his would be companion. Helios hesitated before nodding and then teleporting away.

"My friend-" Thor came upon the plague god with a huge smile upon his face, eager to see the god that saved him, and to redeem himself. "Allow me to adventure with you."

"Heheheh, groovy."

Im thinking of no romance for Maegor, I think it makes the most sense.
