The first meeting III

I start to wake up moving my hands around I can feel a soft fluffy blanket I open my eyes bringing my hands up and rubbing my eyes I move my eyes side to side trying to figure out what happened, the memories start to flood back into my head, the wolves the biting me I feel the fear coming back as my heart starts beating faster I sit up fast throwing the blanket off of my legs I stop surprised to see that my leg and thigh have been bandaged I look around and see a campfire, a fur rug on the ground some pots and pans hanging on the wall as well as hanging meats and vegetables there is a table and two chairs with multiple knives I look towards a corner and notice more weapons an axe, sword and several pieces of armor that are part leather and part metal. It's bigger then normal armor is I look at the walls and realize its all stone the ground is also stone, I try to remember if I had seen anyone around when the wolves attacked, I don't but I do remember hearing a deep voice yell I can't remember anything after that. I slowly try to stand up but pain shoots up my leg into my hips I grit my teeth trying to be quiet, i fall back down onto my butt. "Damn it that hurts how am I suppose to get help for my village if I can't even walk" I sigh in frustration as it hits me, no one is here with me I don't know who helped me I don't know if they are human or other wise I don't know what they plan on doing to me, I feel anxiety building in my chest and throat trying to steady my heart beat and breathing looking around frantically trying to find a way to get out of here before whoever it is comes back. As I sit panicking on the bed I hear someone walking towards me I look towards the entrance ready to meet my fate I'm gripping the blanket as hard as I can, when an orc walks in he stops in his tracks as we look at each other, he's very tall 6.5 probably he's muscular and lean short black hair tied back into a knot the sides of his head are shaved, he's got light green skin two small pointed teeth just sticking out from his bottom lip going up to his top lip, he has black stubble on the sides of his face down to his chin and upper lip, his eyes are a beautiful gold colour he's got pointed ears with several metal piercings on each he is wearing leather pants but no shirt I can see every inch of his muscular chest as well as several scars on his chest and shoulders, he has fresh wounds on his sides arms and chest confirming that he is the one who helped me, I pull my eyes away from his realize that he is a dangerous beast I push my back onto the stone wall he must have seen that I was scared because he took a step back.

Zuls pov

Zul:"I mean you no harm, I uh heard you screaming in the forest for help, by the time the wolves backed off you had passed out so I brought you back here" I slowly move into the cave sitting down in a chair across from the bed and near the fire I try not to stare at her and make her feel more uncomfortable.

Whitney: I stay silent as I listen to him speak his deep gruff voice sending shivers down my spine. "I..um thank you for saving me" I say in a quiet voice looking down at my bandages not sure what to think about him if I can trust him or not.

Zul: my eyes widen as she thanks me in a sweet and innocent sounding voice, I wasn't expecting her to sound so sweet and innocent I can see her blushing slightly as the light from the fire is just bright enough to light up my small cave "Y..you should try to rest it's still dark out and you lost a lot of blood from your wounds"

Whitney:I nod slightly only looking up at him for a second before moving my gaze to the fire, I yawn as I sit on the bed pulling the blanket back over myself, my eyes are getting heavy again as the warmth from the fire and the comfortable bed eventually sleep consumes me for some reason I don't feel as scared of him as I should something about his voice is soothing.
