Star's journey

From then on I sing songs online with the name of star. It started of small with 20K views not to brag ,but I felt like the luckiest nickel from the store. Things are finally turning around for me I thought.

I really love singing for the people so that I can see them smile. Remember the first video I've posted the one with the one I wrote for my mother's. Well since then I've posted twenty new videos and each one without fail had the same comment from Prince.

There was a knock on the door "Athena! Athena! do you not hear me calling you" that was my mother Elaine you know the woman who parents wouldn't let my dad go.

"I know you do so answer the door. Everyday your in this room. Get out of there don't you know it's your sister Cantera birthday today!"

"Yeah I remember I just don't want to go."

With a steaming face as if she was gonna explode she knocked my door open and slapped me in the face.

"You, You bastard child how dare you speak to your mother like this."

I think I heard wrong, did this woman just called herself my mother. As far as I known I only had two mothers and one is dead while the other is gone. So I wonder who does this woman think she is.

I stood up and ignored her going downstairs to the kitchen for something sweet. When suddenly my phone began rings.

"Hello may I ask who is the one so brave enough to ruin my dessert time."

"Forgive me my queen, but I missed your voice so I your lowly folk just had to talk to you."

I rolled my eyes, this boy. The weird person I'm talking to right now is a friend of mine. And he's one of the few people of whom I can trust and can tolerate. His name is Avery Johnson.

"So Avery what are you calling for?"

"Hey Athena have you heard of the audition that's going on tomorrow?"

"No why you ask?"

"Causee they're looking to for new talent and its headed by Jackson Smith!! You know the CEO of the Stars entertainment. "

"Your kidding right?"

"Nope."

Intresting I think I should audition. It's not like I'm gonna join my father's company. Also this would be an awesome way to get back at my father while exposing myself to the industry even if I fail.

"Okay Avery i think I'll do it can you sign up for me today please, you know the name to use. I gotta go I think I hear the little witch of the east coming."

"Alright later Star."

Guess today's not so bad.

"Sister where are you mom's looking for you"

I knew it why does this always happen can't I have at least one sick day away from these two. Honestly my life's a whole bunch of cliches.

"Cantera what do you need?"

"Sister can you atleast pretend to care about me."

"Do you?"

she fell silent for a moment.

"Good point. Anyways just wanted to say I don't need your ugly face sickening my guests tonight okay. So please don't come to my birthday party."

"Don't worry I wasn't planning on going."

I left the house and went to a beach nearby to relax. Ever since my nanny left I would come here to sing because it's comforting.

The wind blowing across my face. The sound of the ocean hitting the rocks and the birds singing a tone. When I'm here I hear a song that's played only for me

That's right as long as their is music I'm happy cause that's all I'll ever need. because it will never leave me.
