Insidious dessert.
"Hel-p me, please". I let out a low moan and crashed myself on the floor. I guess I
was gone for and this was it. Time to kiss the world goodbye and have nothing
else in my memory except the happiness I once had before all this. I had my
vision blur off slowly at the sight of Rin, offering me liquid substance.
"Don't die".
I ended my weird flash back and stared cold into the eyes of Yumeko, who
seemed excited to see me. I survived her death attack because she let me live
but she changed me, I couldn't do anything. I couldn't eat the food I used to,
I could not look at my parents as I used to. I hated myself and it all because
of her. I almost eat my own sister because of this bastard, you damn ghoul. I
groaned harder and wrapped up my fist, tightening the grip as my fury grew.
"Simon, you're making a fuss". She muttered in hopes to call me to order. "Shut
up…! I'll kill you, I'll kill you, I'll kill you! I slammed and had my red
thick Kagune spring out from my back.
Yumeko had her guards try to push her back in attempt to protect her but she pulled them aside, thrusting forward as she felt she could handle this. "Step aside…my Princess". One of the ghoul guards said but she raised up her finger
as she pulled in closer to me. "I know how to handle a sheep who has gone
astray, after all he is my husband". She snapped immediately and both her eyes
got even thicker.
It happened like a flash of lightning, even I couldn't predict or keep
up with her moves. I was thrown out the mansion from the window and wiped
against a tree. I gnashed my teeth as she was a strong one and certainly I was no match for her. I crawled my up and hesitated in standing up a bit. I let out a roar of anger and drew out my kagune with quick sub-session. "Phoenix dive". I muttered to only my hearing and let the Kagune, which appeared a bit different from the others. Mine was blood red like Run's, whereas Yumeko's was a mixed of blue and red, creating the perfect eminence of purple. Her Kagune was a four - piece holder at first but one couldn't avoid the spikes she scoffed off the ground unto her opponent.
It was what she used mainly on me, one couldn't tell when she had activated it and my own Kagune came in a dual package of Rashumon and Phoenix dive. It was
the combination of two greatest Kagune. Rashumon was like a sharp release of an
eight or sometimes three, six, four, two or one tentacles and could kill upon
contact, with great force and strength.
The phoenix dive was like a feather Kagune, flaring from your back, it was quite colorful and vibrant looking but yet deadly, it shoot sharp spikes at rapid high speed and accuracy was right on the money. Could lead to the death
of a hundred men when rained down from above. It was mostly used for long range
attacks, but people who possess this Kagune could still fight hand combat, and
use their phoenix to pierce through their opponent.
Yumeko's Kagune made it easy for her to guide herself from attacks, and made it easy for
her to attack while defending herself. It was like a nestled beautiful, the bottom dual defends while the top attacks. Whatever, I never got to see her last Kagune holder as I was just about to pass out after her beat down. She
barely even moved from her position, and I never even got closer to her. She used the transcending spikes from the ground to stop my advancement. After coughing out blood, I have to admit defeat but not so easy to plead my loyalty to her. I was taken back into the mansion, I was seated at the dinning table and was offered a juicy looking steak and rice balls. I hesitated a bit as I felt it could be human flesh or some sort of trick, whichever I wasn't buying. "Trust me…Simon, you can eat it". Yumeko said and took a piece of the steak. It was really juicy from the looks of it and I was starting to feel myself drilling. I heard my stomach yarn for the food and heard it grumble. I stocked my fork into the already cut steak meat, pulling in closer to my face and yum, into my mouth. It was so juicy, and tender as thought it evaporated in my mouth into bubbles. I yearned for joy and kept eating like a hungry pig, I sliced it all open, stuffing it into my mouth. Yumeko stared at me with the others as I emptied the bowl of rice and steak. "Oh my God! That was so good…what the hell kind of meat was that, it's so tender. Must be an A5 meat". I remarked and kept stuffing my face with more fat. "How clever, you figure it out all on your own.
"See told you he was brilliant". Yumeko said and clapped for joy. "You bet". I replied
with my face in the plate. "I knew you would love it, it's the perfect meat for the perfect…ghoul". Yumeko said and had me dropped the fork and plate, my eyes widened in confusion and regret that I must have misheard. "That's right, the reason you love the meat, why it's so tender and juicy in you mouth, is because
it's the one meat we ghouls love the most…The human flesh".
