The Once King 7

Four years passed

You gained your doctorate. People wonder why you even still attended school.

With your management skills, you grew the size of your company massively, becoming a technological brand empire, putting your hands in anything, and everything technology based. Mobile Phones, computers, televisions, gaming platforms. You even made a game based on your time in the digital world, and a digimon card game.

You got bored one day, and on a whim, created a social media platform because the one you were using sucked and put it through your company. you called it, Digibook.

And throughout all of this, the egg of your partners remained inert. It did not show even the slightest inclination of hatching.

Through careful examination and scanning of the egg, you found that your partners egg was missing a lot of data. The egg was like a simple shell with little to nothing within it.

Thankfully, you had a work around. That being, the few supercomputers you'd bought and upgraded for the single purpose of creating digivolution items within your digivice.

All you had to do, was re-route the data compilation into the egg. But even with that, it was a slow going. An in four year, you hadn't even filled a tenth of the data the egg needed.

It was truly an absurd amount. Your partners are so greedy.

It was only a minor set back. Even if it took a hundred years, you wouldn't be deterred. You are Artus Kokuo after all, the one true king of the digital world and you'd long since found a way to get around your human lifespan.

Bakemon were useful like that.

And there were other avenues that you were pursuing to cut down on the time, and find a way back to your kingdom while you were at it.

'Odaiba Highschool, huh?' you mused as you made your way through the school gates. It was a bit odd, going to a public school once again, since you'd been in private schools that attended to the elite, and many wondered why you had chosen to come to a school like this.

Your reasons were your own, so you didn't let anybody know why you would be coming here.

A hush fell over the rustle and bustle of the early morning students making their way to school just like you. Whispers broke out all around you as all eyes zeroed in on you.

"Damn, it really is him, I thought it was a joke." you heard once boy say to his friend.

Said friend shook his head, "Man, what is up with this school?" he wondered aloud, "First Amano Nene, and now Kokuo Artus? Heck, I hear Ichijouji Ken is starting this year here to."

You perked up slightly at the name drop. Of one of them at least. Amano Nene, was a very popular and famous teen idol, and had been the top of the singing charts for quite a while now.

'Interesting, maybe this school has more going on for it than I thought?' you lips curled up into a smirk.

A group of girls giggled and pointed at you, and gave them a wink and a little wave as you passed them by, setting them into a furious cacophony of girlish squealing.

'..Hmm, they're cute.' you mused, eyeing their perky, lean bodies, and ripe breasts and thighs.

Truly, your appetite was that befitting of a king.

Shaking your head, you continued on. You made sure to pass through the cafeteria, a place where most known were known to frequent prior to classes beginning, a place where those of different years could meet outside of class easily.

And as you hoped, your eyes landed on a particular group all huddled around one table. Seven in total. The digidestined. Though, they were missing their eighth member.

'Where is Yagami Taichi?' you wondered idly. They were all there, but him. 'Tai' as he was known, was the leader of the group and the one they all generally tended to congregate around from what you'd been able to see of them in the past few years.

As if predetermined, the second your eyes landed on the group, one turned to look at you, the youngest girl, and the rest followed suit.

You smirked at them and met each of their eyes in kind, making sure to wink at the girls. They were quite easy on the eyes.

The blonde, Matt you think his name was, bit his lip and made to stand up for whatever reason when he met your gaze, but, the ginger haired girl, Sora grabbed his arm and forced him back down.

How odd.
