Return Of The King 5

"This is bizarre," Wizardmon shook his head, ten minutes later, eyeing the scene before you, "..There should be a limit to charisma."

"There is, just not one to me." you smirked smugly.

Airdramon laughed loudly, "He's got you there Wizardmon," the dragon pointed out, "When the boss wants to get something done, he gets it done."

You shook your head in amusement, focusing on Ogremon and his surrounding posse. Just mere moments ago, they were but small Goblimon, barely coming up to your waste, and it was cute how they crowded Ogremon seeking his leadership.

Now it was less cute, much more amusing/ Because now, instead of Goblimon, the giant forms of Two Seadramon, Three Kabuterimon, a Birdramon, Tyrannomon Drimogemon, Meramon and Angemon.

"Check us out big bro!" Birdramon flapped its wings, "We're all big and beefy now! I'd like to see that wimpy ass Digimon Emperor come start shit now!"

"Screw that pansy nerd!" Drimogemon cheered, "The boss is the real king! Ain't that right big bro?"

"Calm down, calm down!" Ogremon tried to calm the group of of boisterous newly digivolved champion digimon.

"So, hey boss man," Angemon made his way over to you, "You want I should take down that punk ass bitches tower? I'll shove my fist up its ass and tear it apart if ya' want." the angel digimon cracked his knuckles menacingly.

That attitude was so out of place on an Angemon, you almost burst out laughing. Wizardmon and Airdramon had no problems doing so.

"It's fine Angemon," you waved the holy digimon off, "I want to take a look at it first while it's active, and assuming this pretender is competent in anyway, He'll have ways of alerting him when they get taken down, and I'd prefer not to bother with him right now."

Honestly, you had a real good starting position right now. While the new champions weren't anything to write home about, they'd contend with any modern champion well enough, they were at least average champion strength of this age. Airdramon and Wizardmon were high tier champions for this day and age, and Ogremon was definitely in the Ultimate level of strength by now, especially by the modern standards.

But this Digimon Emperor fool had plenty of time to fortify himself, and thirteen digimon, did not an army make. Setting up base first and getting your current subordinates a bit stronger, would be the best thing to do...for now. You just needed a small bit of time to take stock of things and get your feet under you in the digital world.

"Alright, you're the bossman, boss," Angemon shrugged, "Holla if you need me." the angel digimon tossed a wave at you and made his way over to Ogremon

"...My lord, despite all I've seen with you, I think that is by far the most unnatural thing you've done." Wizardmon deadpanned.

Airdramon just continued to guffaw.

You took a look around you. Eyeing the vast expanse of area, surrounded by the natural large defense of clustering mountains. All in all, it wasn't a bad place to set up base.

Your eyes moved to the rocky plateau. 'There's even one of those television portal things that I came through up there.' you noted. It should be easy to categorize the coordinates of it and destination, so you could come straight here from the human world. And the plateau itself, high up, over a lake, would be the perfect spot to build a castle.

Your gaze then swept over to the massive amount of stone, wood and other materials your new subordinates had been excavating for whatever reason while under the control of those plebian dark rings.

It was quite a lot of material to use. And you could use it and format it to build a beginning abode of refuge. And with the lake, there should be an abundance of fish and clean water.

'Well, not like that's a problem for me, I can just bring over tons of food from the human world for me.' you mused. Still, the fish of the digital world were naturally spawning, when one was caught, a new one reformed, they weren't actually living things like in the real world, but more data packets of food, naturally produced by the digital world itself to simulate fish from the real world.

Still, while it would feed your subordinates, it wasn't big enough to satiate a kingdom itself. 'I'll need to recruit a bunch of vegiemon.' you nodded to yourself. Well, them, or some of the Tanemon and Palmon lines, they generally were very good when it came to growing both vegetables and meat.

To bad you hadn't thought to make some digivolution items for Vegiemon, or maybe a Togemon. But, easily rectified with some time.

You decided, that this was as good a place as any, actually, it was far better than most, and it was a great find. So, from this area, the Kingdom of Floatia would be reborn.

To that end, you called over your new subordinates.

"What's up boss?" Ogremon asked, his gaggle of giant champion level subordinates lined up behind him.

You nodded at the mass of materials gathered by him and them before they were freed by you, "Can you grab all that up and take it up to the top of there?" you asked, pointing at the top of the plateau.

Ogremon shrugged, "Should be simple enough now that these lugs are champions as well," your current strongest subordinate replied, giving you a brief and lazy salute with one of his clubs before turning to face the ones behind him, "You heard the boss you maggots, get moving, take this as a chance to test out your new strength!"

"Yes big bro!" they cheered loudly and tore off towards the gathering of materials in a stampede.

Ogremon shook his head in what you assumed to be fondness, before he took off after them.

You looked to Airdramon coiled up at your side, "Go help them will you?" you asked, "With your portals, they can just walk through while carrying it instead of having to jump or climb up."

"You got it boss." Airdramon nodded, uncoiling and flaring out his large red wings as he took to the air and flew off to help what you mentally dubbed 'The Ogremon division'. With his strength as a Champion, there was no doubt Ogremon was going to be one of your top subordinates, and delegating was a true mark of a king if you do say so yourself.

"What about me?" Wizardmon asked.

You pointed at the dark tower, "I'm gonna go check that out, I want you to come with me in case there are any guards around it." you replied. If this 'Digimon Emperor' was in any way competent, he would have an extra guard in waiting as a last case scenario to defend something like his dark towers.

"..So my lord," Wizardmon began as he fell in line with you on your trip towards the tower, "I did not know it was possible to use your items to digivolve into the same form, and not just level."

You shrugged, "I had a few Whamon as subordinates, and it occurred to me when I saw that some of them were champions and ultimates, that some forms are much more combat able than others, even with a strength increase," you explained, "For instance, a Greymon's body is much more combat suited than a Nanimon's, despite the fact they would gain an overall power boost from digivolving into one after being a Greymon."

There was also the fact that when you were raising the Agumon that would eventually become Chaosdramon, you needed Greymon to become Metal Greymon, but also wanted the power boost that would come from an extra digivolution.

"..I see," Wizardmon mused. "I have held off on asking for one of your items to digivolve into another champion form, because I have a fondness for this form, it is the form I made my friendship with Gatomon in. If you want me to and have a better and more powerful form suited, I will be fine with it, but I would prefer to stay as Wizardmon, at least as a champion level digimon."

It wasn't needed to be said that when he was strong enough, you were planning on him becoming an ultimate level digimon. The only reason Airdramon wasn't already an ultimate, was simply because, his portals were much too useful right now to lose.

"Even though Wizardmon aren't a species that are geared towards how you fight?" you asked, "Wizardmon as a species, from what I've gathered from your data, are geared towards long range fighters, but you always tend to move in close to fight."

"I can't protect what I want to, if I'm to scared to fight in close, a protector has to be someone capable of fighting at any range," Wizardmon replied, but nodded nonetheless, "While there's no doubt my physical abilities would be drastically increased as a Greymon or a Garurumon, even then, I would prefer Wizardmon."
