Let's dance

Kaelen panicked; In order to breakthrough the next realm, he needed to use the source energy after the tempering to open the Dantian and form an elemental core. In that way, he would have his own elemental energy producer. However, Kaelen planned on opening his Dantian and form the elemental cores after receiving both baptisms, and currently he hadn't produced the core for his annihilation and slaughter attributes.

"What am I going to do." He was at a loss. The moment was really not the best to have accidents, he thought.

He kept his perception inside the heart and waited for another change.

While the sun crystal absorbed the solar source, the bloodline seal bead trembled, the divine inscriptions on it began to slowly disappear.

A few moments passed and the final inscriptions were erased. Then, the bead exploded.

"Boom!!" Like the collapse of a star. A massive golden stream of blood gushed out, it then separated into countless smaller threads, like the dragon's blood before, and rushed outside his heart.

"My second bloodline is awakening." Kaelen's head was but a scrambled egg at the moment, overwhelmed by the situation.

While he panicked, the sound of flowing water could be heard from the lake. Ripples travelled across the lake, yet there was no wind.

Suddenly, a massive shadow appeared just below water level. Its form approached the edge of the lake and slowly elevated above it, showing what hid underneath water.

What came out was a wide, turquoise scaled snakehead. It had a horn on its forehead, not too large, only about the size of a forearm. It had large black iris slits that were surrounded by a yellow color, within its grey pupils. The lake monster's appearance hovered between a dragon and a snake. One could assume It was particularly large; it's head roughly half the bear body.

The dragon snake rose higher and higher, showcasing its absurd length. Soon, it completely blocked the sun, making it seem as if night had suddenly arrived.

It hovered above the lake and watched the boy from about ten meters away.

Kaelen, who racked his brain for solutions felt a gigantic presence gaze upon him.

"Sh*t." He said to himself. He opened his eyes and looked at the humongous dragon like snake that glared at him like a tasty dish.

"!!!" Shock travelled through his body as laid his eyes on the monster in the lake.

"!@#$%?!! Is that a fucking Profound Sea Boa!? How...? Where?" Kaelen was submerged in shock, confusion and exasperation. First off, The Profound Sea Boa was not an earthly ranked beast, but a heavenly tier monster beast. What's worse, its rank was not low at all.

"That monster is ranked 36th in the heavenly beast ranking, and it seems to have reached the spirit beast rank!? Isn't the jump a bit too outrageous!?" Kaelen rolled his eyes at his luck. He felt like he faced the final boss much earlier than he was supposed to. Originally, he was still in the lower regions of the mountain forest, however in his fight with the beast, he probably reached half-way up. Additionally, this may be the only lake in the mountain, meaning this beast should probably have been higher up, but it preferred the water environment, so it stayed in the lake instead.

"This fight is going to be a bit perilous…" Black lines covered his face as Kaelen, accepted his fate. His body glowed with an amber gold sheen as his second bloodline awakened. The golden threads of blood circulated at lightning fast speed withing his body and merged with his blood vessels and meridians, The 720 primordial meridians began to shine with a metallic golden light, like indestructible divine strings. The Qi within his body circulated along his new golden primordial meridians and took its fiery golden color.

"Wait, why is this happening?" Watching this unfold, Kaelen was a bit shocked. His infinite sun's bloodline actually fused with his primordial meridian, meaning whenever he circulated Qi, it would always come out as with the infinite sun's power.

"This is a bit different than my dragon bloodline… is it the same for all elemental bloodlines?" He pondered. "This means that my qi will now be automatically be mixed infinite suns Qi, while the extinction attribute will be tied to my dragonic might?"

"If it's like this, then I will be able to use solar elemental energy regardless, and it seems to be significantly more powerful than the solar energy that permeate the world; this one comes from my bloodline and has it as its source." He speculated.

Indeed, after some golden bloodline threads merged with his blood and primordial meridians, he could use solar elemental energy with or without forming the elemental core in his Dantian, though his elemental energy would stagnate in that case.

About half of the bloodline energy remained, and to Kaelen's surprise, the golden silk lines rushed towards his abdominal area, specifically the zone below his navel; there hovered a red sphere, about a thumb size with black shackles around it. The threads began knocking at it, making cracks appear on the shackles.

"Arghh. That's... my dantian!??" Gut wrenching pain assaulted him as the bloodline threads destroyed the shackles on his Dantian. The thousands of golden lines thrusted like steel wires and impacted the Dantian repetatively.

"Crack." After a few rounds, the black shackles finally disintegrated into dust. After which, the bloodline threads rushed inside.

All of this happened in less than ten minutes, as the profound Sea Boa still hovered above the lake and peered at the boy's figure, seemingly waiting for something.

"It's open!" exclaiming, Kaelen pushed his divine sense into his Dantian to see what was inside.

"Holy! It's huge…" Kaelen was completely flabbergasted by what he saw. Upon entering, he saw a vast, crimson starry sky. It stretched as far as the eye could see. At the center, a super massive sun floated. The sun blazed with terrible heat, while countless golden threads nourished it. It's size slowly condensed, decreasing.

"It's condensing. Was it formed by the golden threads?" He watched the bloodline threads condense the massive sun into a fist sized sun core.

"My bloodline is forming it's own sun elemental core." His mouth formed an 'O', as he witnessed the change.

"I might as well form my annihilation core as well." Quickly, he controlled the annihilation and slaughter sources within his body and directed them towards his dantian.

In a flash, a dark crimson energy appeared beside the sun core. "I should use dragon might to help condense the core, since they're from the same origin and it should accelerate the process." With a thought, a terrible greyish-white aura appeared next to the crimson mass of energy.

He merged the two and condensed it into a dark crimson spiral. The spiral spun at incredible speed. At its center, a small dark crimson seed began to form.

As the crimson spiral spun, its energy reduces while the crimson seed grew. Soon, it reached a third of the size of the sun core. Then two thirds.

After a moment, the core formed from annihilation energy and slaughter energy grew to the same size as the sun core.

When the two cores stabilised, Kaelen's entire body trembled slightly.

"Whew. I actually broke through perfectly." Kaelen exhaled in relief. He looked in satisfaction at the end result of this whole fiasco.

"Since my elemental cores were formed by bloodline and dragon might, they're quite different from the standard core of the same attribute; in fact, it couldn't even be said to be the same anymore. My solar energy from my bloodline is significantly more powerful, and the core is also a mass of solar bloodline energy. I will call it the Infinite Suns Core. As for the other one; Crimson Annihilation Core is a good name. My bloodline awakening brought other changes, but I don't have time to assess them now."

Withdrawing his mind from his Dantian, Kaelen looked at the Profound Sea Boa. About ten minutes had passed since the sun crystal absorbed the solar source. His second bloodline awakening was much faster and accelerated his breakthrough this time, allowing most of his injuries and Qi to recover. He grabbed the Blood Swallowing Spear on the ground and stood up.

"What are you looking at, you large snake?" He stood with his spear planted on the ground and said nonchalantly at the humongous reptile.

"Human! You have my clan's bloodline inside you." A deep and heavy voice resounded as the monster actually opened its mouth to speak, terrifying Kaelen. The wind blew strongly while it carried the sound.

"What a terrifying voice. You shouldn't be allowed to speak at all," the latter commented.

"Your clan's bloodline? What the hell are you talking about- do we look like siblings!?" He continued, glancing sideways at the gigantic snake.

"You have a very pure dragon bloodline within you. I want it," the Profound Sea Boa particularly enunciated the last few words. Its long neck moved around the lake, causing massive waves. A loud 'splash' erupted behind it as it whipped its tail. A chilly blue aura coalesced around its body, drastically lowering the temperature.

"You want my bloodline? Why didn't you just eat me while I recovered?" Curious, Kaelen asked.

"I am a heavenly beast of noble dragon descent. It is below my rank to behave with such cowardice and indignity. Now that you're done, I can destroy you and eat you totally without shame," it said. Its turquoise scales lifted slightly and released a chilling gas that froze the air and the water under it. The cold air quickly reached Kaelen's position.

"Oh!? You actually have a conscience. I appreciate the warrior spirit in you. As such, I will cook your body with the best of my ability and enjoy you fully," he indifferently said, as his body went through some changes. He circulated his Qi furiously as he absorbed the surrounding heaven and earth energy. Qi revolved within his golden primordial meridians, subsequently transforming into solar elemental energy. A bright golden flame covered his body and instantly dispersed the cold air that approached. His body radiated yellow flames, keeping all chilling Qi gas away.

The void trembled and electric sparks flashed as the energies of two opposed natures clashed

"Boom!" An explosion occurred between the boy and the serpent. The leftover body of the bear was extinguished into dust, leaving but a red core on the ground. Seeing the red core, Kaelen walked towards it steadily, paying no attention to the giant snake. He arrived beside it, took the core, and placed it inside his ring.

Then, he whipped his spear outwards. A sharp and piercing silver light thinly coated the body and blade of the weapon, shaking the air around it. He swiftly covered the spear with his Qi, adding a golden color to it. The sharp silver spear intent merged with the solar elemental energy into solar spear intent that incinerated the void.

He pointed the spear at the snake, "Let's dance, shall we?" And coolly said.
