5•Come Fly with me [1]

It was a bright sunny day as today was a Sunday. A day were mostly people rest, but for Jay, it's a day for him to fly his plane but not before having a person who knows what they're doing as well.

That's where Will comes in. He received a phone call from Manny, and then that phone called turned into Jay speaking with Will who invited him over to test his next plane that he got.

Will thought about it and wanted to decline in the first place remembering what happened to Phil but he decided to go since it wouldn't be him getting hit by a model airplane.

Will needed to get permission first and that was the hard part. His dad was bipolar some days he would be nice while another day he would be strict and wouldn't want to be talked to.

Today was unfortunately one of those days as Will kept trying to talk to his dad, trying to get his attention walking behind him.

Will:"Dad.Dad."

Dylan:"What is it Will? Do know I'm in an important call."

He said turning his head, pressing his phone on his shoulders

Will:"Just wanted to know if I could go to Jay house, he wanted to fly-"

Dylan:"Don't be late coming back, you can buy what you need and I hope you won't interrupt me again unless you continue that project that we need"

His dad handed him a black credit card as Will took it with an indifference look. This was the one thing he hated about this new life. Although he didn't want to be picky so he had to soak it up.

And this project that Dylan was talking about was him trying to get his future CEO, to get back on creating/developing nano bots. A marvelous invention but Will decided to lay off of it due to reasons Dylan did not know why.

He looked at it for a second as he flicked it to ground and walked out of the house with the Black out SUV waiting for him with a driver.

Will knocked on the door as Gloria opened it with a smile and arms out.

Gloria:"Hi Will good to see you, Jay! Your pilot is here"

Will:"You as well Gloria"

Will accepted Gloria hug as he entered and followed behind her. She turned around.

Gloria:"Im still waiting on those what you call it?"

Will:"Shrimp Scampi?"

Gloria:"Yes!, oh, love that, you gonna have to give me the recipe."

Will chuckled as he arrived at the dining table with Jay assembling the pieces for a new plane.

Manny:"I wish I could stay home with you and Will to fly toy airplanes"

JAY:"They're not toys, Manny. They're models and they're very complicated. You want to fly one of these you have to know all about airfoils, drag, lift, and thrust. These are all principles of aerodynamics, isn't that right Will."

Will nodded as Manny went back to look at the box.

Manny:"The box says twelve and up."

Jay:"Where?"

Will points it out as Jay nodded slowly.

Gloria:"You can fly toy planes with Will next time. Today I want you to spend time with Luke."

Manny:"Why?"

Gloria:"Because his mother invited you, so you go. Family should be close."

Will sat on the other side as Jay got up and retrieved something from the fridge.

Jay:"Hey Honey, why don't you bring this to Claire."

Gloria raised an eyebrow

Jay:"It's some left overs that Alex loves."

Gloria nodded as she got an idea

Gloria:"Sure, but I'll take Will "

Will:"Wait what?"

——Commentary———

Gloria could be seen sitting on a stool smiling.

"Oh Young love, it's beautiful and magical. Claire might not want to admit it but I have my suspicions,Observing them for the past almost 2 weeks ever since Alex had him over. I see those eyes Will gives to Alex and Alex gives to Will. It was just like me back then with Manny father. Those are the eyes of liking each other and while I am not her mother I think they should go for it. After all, The first might be the last or in another saying, You can get it right the first time."

She laughs when suddenly she turns around and grabs a knife, pointing it to the camera

"But if that little Jesus breaks her heart, I might go break his."

She had an angry expression at the start but ending her sentence she smiled.

Jay:"Yeah What? No, we're about assemble this beauty and take it for spin."

Gloria:"It just for something it won't even take long, I'll give him back. Now let's go"

Gloria gave some kisses to Jay as Will followed along not intending to argue with a Latina.

Changing the scene to the Dunphy house we could see Gloria car arriving with Will arriving in his own car, driven by the butler.

They headed inside as they knocked and headed in once Claire let them in

Claire:"So what brings you here Will?"

Gloria:"Oh, he was invited to hang out with Jay but he told him to give you this."

Gloria handed the container holding some type of food as she looked back and forth between Gloria and Will

Claire:"You were invited by my dad? Wow, I can't believe the day came."

Claire said as Manny took out a board game

Gloria:"Manny brought his favorite game to play with Luke."

Manny:"It's called EMPIRE. You use strategy to expand territories and take over the world."

Will was about to leave until his arm was grabbed by Gloria which pulled him back facing Claire.

Claire:"Okay? Luke'll love that. He's in the back yard."

Manny looks out the window, where he sees Luke bouncing mindlessly on the trampoline, a box on his head. Manny puts the game back in the bag.

Gloria:"I should get going. Do you need anything while I'm out shopping? And do you know where's Alex?"

Claire:"I don't think so, but thanks and Alex is-"

She is cut off as she heard her coming downstairs. Alex enters, wearing a nice outfit. Her attitude is sullen.

Alexs:"Okay, what about this…?"

She trails off for a second seeing Will as he just stood there with a smile. Gloria kept looking back and fourth at them as she smiled while slowly nodding her head.

Alex:"Wi-Will what are you doing here?"

Will:"Well I was dragged along to give you something from your grandpa Jay but I was kinda glad I tagged along…you look cute"

Claire:"Did he just do that in front of me?"

Will boldly said as Claire looked at him and then back at her daughter as she looked down for a bit while fixing her glasses. She saw red coming on her cheeks.

Gloria smiles

"See! The eyes. It speaks."

——Commentary ends

Claire:"Thank you for complimenting my daughter but-"

Alex:"Mom"

Gloria:"Claire it was just a compliment."

——Commentary——-

Claire is sitting down drinking coffe as she took a deep breath

"How do I put this?….Alex is Young but she's 13 so I know puberty is taking place and with that Feelings come for boys or girls and with that comes…Love. Now Will, well he's Will Zoloman, so I already know his expectations have to be perfect due to him inheriting the company."

"I keep up with the news anyways, I fear that Alex may get her heartbroken mainly because she's not the most Socializing person."

Out of nowhere Gloria comes in

Gloria:"But Alex is a sweet And lovable girl, we know you think he is perfect or to good for Alex but know no one is perfect. And no one is too good for Alex"

Gloria says witb Claire nodding.

"Yeah, I know but-"

Gloria:"Ah, I know Will not break her heart because she and he has those eyes when you see phill"

Gloria stops talking as they both looked at each other as they peeked over the window and saw Phil jumping on the trampoline with a box on his head with Luke.

Gloria:"Or when I see Jay. The eyes are the windows to the souls. And I can tell by the way they look at eachother they are staring at each other true self and not their money or smart side."

Claire just hums as she nodded. She did see those eyes her little girl gave Will and she saw how Will gave her the warmest smile with caring eyes.

Claire:"Maybe unlike us, Alex might get it right the first try…But if he ever breaks her heart."

She laughs as she took out a knife from under her couch as well as Gloria taking out a gun from her purse

"He won't have a heart"

They both said at the same time while manically laughing

(AN:I know the upper part might have been unrealistic as Claire wouldn't give in to easily but I had to because I couldn't find another way how Claire accepts Will….but since I'm new at writing I get a free, [It's realistic!!], card)

Claire:"I know, I was just thanking him to say something wonderful to my daughter but she's still wearing a dress."

Alex was about to respond back but that's when Phil entered with a different set of clothes as well as a pack of Beers.

Claire:"Oh Honey, You going?"

Phil:"Yeah I'm-Oh hey W-money how's it kicking?"

Will:"Good so far"

Will said looking at Alex as she smiled even more. Claire seeing this decided to step in

Claire:"He's about to head to Jay, Will, why don't you take Phil there since you're going to the same place."

Phil:"Wait what?"

Claire:"Believe it or not, Will was invited to assemble a plane model with my dad so why not hitch a ride with him"

Phil:"Wait so you're telling me, My, Will is spending more time with your dad?"

Claire nodded as Phil shook his head.

Phil:"No,no,no,no, not my Willy."

Alex, Claire and Gloria chuckled a bit due to the nickname Phil gave to Will.

Will:"Come on PD, let's go Jay is waiting for us. Nice seeing you Mrs.Dunphy, You too Alex"

They all said their goodbyes to him as Phil laughed while holding a hand to his heart

Phil:"Did you hear that? He called me PD, that stands for Phill Dunphy. He gave me a nickname. I made it to the Next level"

Claire shoos him away as they all just smiled.

Claire:"Back to the dress-"

Alex groans out

Claire:"I wouldn't forget besides It's not going to kill you to look like a girl for one evening."

Alex:"It's a wedding for some friend of yours I never even heard of."

Claire:"What if Will was coming? Would you still dress like that"

Claire intentionally watched her daughter reaction as she was caught stuttering a bit.

Alex:"Is he?…Actually yes because unlike you, he's comfortable around me in whatever I wear or do…so is he coming?"

Alex looked down and then turned her head to the side as she spoke.

Claire:"No, maybe, i don't know but what I do know is that this not up for discussion Just go borrow one of Haley's again."

Alex:"No, that sends an ugly message --that I'm Haley.[Alex then turns to look out the window] Instead of trying to force me to wear a dress, why don't you worry about getting Luke to wear pants?"

Claire:"What?"

She looks out the window.

Claire:"Oh, why does he --Luke! Pants!"

Gloria sees her in distress, deciding to get more information out of Alex, she had an idea

Gloria:"Alex, why don't you come shopping with me? Maybe I can find you something you like."

Claire:"That's a nice offer, but it's not

really Alex's thing."

Alex:"Actually, I'd love to go.[Turns to Claire] See? You don't know what my thing is. You have no idea what my thing is."

Claire:"Yes, your thing is to provoke, just like your sister's thing is to never come out of her room. And your brother's thing is...well your brother [Turning back to look at the window] Luke! Put 'em on!"
