The Mage of Primordial Chaos

Please check out my newest book, Xianxia Online! --- From the moment Xuan Kai was born, he was fated to suffer. Devoid of any magical powers in a world where arcane power rules all, no one could protect him after his parents were assassinated. Betrayed by his friends, cheated on by his fiancee, and humiliated by his own family, no one would've blamed him if he ended his own life. However, he remembered his mother's final words as she passed him a stone pendant - "Live on." And as he held the rough rock in his hand, unbeknownst to himself, a never seen before magic element began waking in his body... "If fate wants to make me suffer, I will defy fate itself. If destiny wants me to die, I'll kill destiny first. If the heavens want to crush me, I will stand up against even the heavens!" ---------- Other novels: Endzone: Simulated Apocalypse/Xianxia Online/Ascension: Online/The Legendary Ghost Hunter Discord: https://discord.gg/g326rUc5Jv Support my friend's cause! https://gofund.me/957b8a05 ---------- The first arcs of this story have some illogical parts/interactions to it, which I apologize for. This is my first novel, so I wasn't that good at the time. However, if you keep reading beyond (chapter 80-100+) I guarantee you will not regret it. ---------- Note: The background image isn't mine. Mordem, Capital of the Death Realm

Outside the castle, in the city of Mordem, lives were bustling cheerily. Kids played around in the streets, and adults browsed through the stalls and stands stationed all around. There were plentiful of people, lively and rowdy, but not in a bad way. If anything, for the capital of Death Realm, this seemed like the exact opposite — filled with life.

Of course, Axilia had to wear a mask and change into some more commoner-like clothes, as she stood out a lot as a princess. Nothing in her wardrobe fit that criteria though, so I had to just compromise and give her my cloak to wrap around her body with. Naturally, Axilia was beyond happy at this, while Ling Xin pouted teasingly from jealousy.

"So, Ling Xin… are you not going to visit your family?" I asked as we walked through the busy streets. "Axilia too."

"Don't worry, I already did," Ling Xin replied. "Before coming here, I asked them where I could find Axilia — and that led me to you, of course."
