I didn't look fazed by his intimidating demeanor. "You muckerfucker blood-sucking demon." I cussed, biting down my lower lip to hinder myself from not raining more curses at him. He smirked. He glided across the room until he stood in front of me, I looked right into his eyes as he lowered down to my level. His hand gripped my chin up, his blue eyes looking deep into mine. "You won't end well if you continue to speak to me like that," I smirked. "I am not afraid of you!" He smiled but it didn't reach his eyes. "And you're afraid of death, I am death." My jaw dropped. He knows where to get me. He let go of me seeing my frightened look and looking satisfied. "But you didn't have to kill that girl for my sake. She did nothing." "Someone's going to cover up for you." He turned around and went to sit on my bed. "But I didn't kill him. There was nothing to cover up for." "Oh, dear." He said and lit his joint up. "He died." I froze. I killed someone too. A new friend

I woke up feeling much better than yesterday. Today, I was going to start training but it didn't involve killing. Fuck, I shiver remembering that they were gonna force me to kill before escaping and one thing was that no how I was going to kill, and my plan was targeted at the mob boss. It's crazy right?. Pretty okay.

My eyes darted at the small stool and I found some clothes, toiletries, etc. It was the same bag Wallace gave me the last time.

I quickly went into the bathroom to take my bath.

...

I was out of the room, looking fresh. I knew they hadn't called me up first but If I was going to undergo any training in the house, I should have food in my stomach. It'd given me time to look for my escape. My leg was much better this morning as I happily walked past some guards at every pillar of the mansion.

They were all alert and looking at me as I walked, hopped, or skipped down the hallway in search of the kitchen. The house was huge and fine, and I knew it'd take a while to get to the kitchen.

I found one of the sluts Zavi kept in the bulk room, and I recognized her to be the one with a bad attitude.

"Little Miss Campbell. I didn't know you were alive." She snorted and I frowned at the way she talked to me.

Bitch!.

Seeking my attention, she's not my type to deal with.

"Where's the kitchen?." I asked.

She rolled her eyes, "Sorry?." I looked confused, but she continued, "No, let's do it this way, siri where's the kitchen?." She mimicked me rudely.

I bit back my lip and wanted to reply to her but a voice beat me to it.

"You should have just said you don't want to tell her than being rude."

I turned.

The doctor who attended to me yesterday was coming towards us. She wore tight black pants and combat boots with a lace top. She looked quite pretty.

"I'm sorry, miss Davina." The girl apologized and I looked at her, she was bowing her head.

Oh, she's respected in the mansion.

"I'm not the one who needs the apology," She told her. The girl looked at me with cold eyes and muttered, "I'm sorry."

I rolled my eyes and turned to Davina. Thanks to that bitch for reminding me of her name.

"Thanks for that," I said.

She smiled, "It's nothing. These girls are jealous and mannerless."

I tilted my head, "Jealous?." I questioned.

"Yes. You were given a room and didn't have to sleep with them and also they feel you were given more privilege than them. It's just their insecurities that they think you were better than them. More so, you were beautiful and more coordinated." I raised my brows at her explanation. In such a short while, she already sees me like this, I mean they.

"Alright, let's get you to the kitchen, I'm going the same way." She muttered and walked past me as I followed up behind.

"Davina..how did you get in here?." I asked.

"Same way you were brought here." I was stunned.

My eyes grew wide, "What?. You were sold too?."

She looked at me, "No. I wasn't. I was kidnapped, and you were sold to Master Zavi?."

My breath hitched as I remembered how I was sold by my father.

"By my father, shameful to say."

She had this look of pity in her eyes but I hated it and changed the topic instantly.

"For how long?. And you didn't care to escape?."

She smiled, "You can't escape from the boss. It's not something anyone has done before. This place is so tight as fuck. I was brought in 3 years ago at the hospital, it was one day the boss rushed to the hospital after being shot at his left rib, he hid so perfectly and at gunpoint made me remove the bullet and sew up his wound, seeing that he could not let me live or die, he brought me here. He made me the doctor in the mansion so that I have to treat anybody here. I had to do all I can to survive.."

I nodded slightly.

"He's trouble." I snarled.

She cackled, "Believe me, he is."

I smiled at her. What?. I found myself smiling at this lady, I'm beginning to loosen up around her.

"And your family, wouldn't you think they might be worried?." She stopped and I looked up, there was a double set of wooden doors in front of us and she pushed them open.

My eyes widened as I looked inside. All eyes went into mine. It was the kitchen, and also the dining room. I didn't know many people lived in the mansion because I rarely saw any souls outside these doors.

"Good morning, miss Davina," They all curtsied to her.

"Good morning. I've seen you've all met Nora here."

They all looked at me. I felt very uncomfortable.

"She'll be sworn to the family soon." She added and began walking away.

Sworn?.

Sworn like oath?.

I followed her up quickly.

We settled at the end of the table.

"You better eat fast because the master would come for you anytime," She said to me.

I began eating.

"Uh. I'm very sorry if I ask a lot, are all these people kidnapped too?."

"No, they came on their own and asked to be a part. They are either sworn in, and for the girls who are made prostitutes believe me, they're high-class ones and they are recognized in society. But I didn't say they don't kidnap though. The kidnapped ones are not in the mansion,"

I was confused by her last sentence.

"Where are they?."

"In the warehouse," My eyes glinted.

"Is that not human trafficking?." I asked suddenly. She smiled and focused back on her food.

This place is so fucked up.

Okay, I'm leaving this place.

"I saw her leave the room yesterday but she didn't come back." A girl beside me said.

"Oh poor Sandy, I hope nothing happened to her," The one with blonde hair mumbled.

"Come on, you guys should not be dramatic, you know what happens when you are not found with others." The girl who I met in the hallway said. I don't like her.

I raised my head and my eyes met hers. She was glaring badly at me.

Bitch!.

"I'm gonna leave, you coming?." Davina asked.

Oh, fuck this place.

I grabbed a water bottle and followed her out of the hall.

"Next time, remind me to put up an act to eat in my room," I told Davina. She laughed.

"Well, you won't be eating there after today. You'll be joining the Boss in his dining."

I deadpanned.
