Miss Jade drew the wooden blade back and then with a precise speed slashed towards Arthur's neck.The confused Arthur didn't know what was happening but all his senses were screaming at him to dodge no matter what.

There was only one skill he possessed which could get him out of this unharmed and he did not hesitate to activate it at all.

Miss Jade was taken aback by the sudden disappearance of Arthur but she quickly ignored it and bent down swiping her leg across the floor.Arthur who had just managed to escape her first attack was met with another which he could not dodge this time.

The leg sweep came too fast for him to even try to counter.It felt almost as if Miss Jade already knew the exact position he would appear.She was indeed a nascent ranked awakened for sure.

Miss Jade didn't stop there and went on to grab him by the ankle slamming him onto the floor

Arthur was very sure that meant he had taken damage and his health stat would decrease. To think a simple slam to the ground could deduct this much.Arthur kicked his legs up gaining his balance once more as he stood there awaiting any attack.This time around he had his body directly facing her.

Arthur had somewhat guessed the system would probably send out a quest so seeing this now was no surprise to him.

Arthur now knew of what she was doing and complied.Miss Jade noticed Arthur's expression and could tell he was ready.

"Just 5% of my power should do"She said internally as her figure dashed at a decent speed which Arthur couldn't catch up to.

Miss Jade's body hopped left and right and before he knew it he saw her katana from below.Without hesitation Arthur took a step back.The wooden katana slightly grazed his chin.

*Whoosh*

Arthur's face immediately paled upon seeing just how much power she put in that attack.His black messy hair began moving about in the air due to the shockwave the attack left."Incredible".

Arthur couldn't help but marvel at what he saw.Miss Jade didn't just stop there and continued slicing through the air,each attack sending out shockwaves each time it missed Arthur's body.

Meanwhile Miss Jade was shocked to see Arthur dodging her every attack."It can't be...he's adapted to my attacks".Indeed Arthur had.After fighting Miss Jade and being almost hit by Miss Jade's wooden katana he had finally found a loophole to help him dodge her sword strikes.

Miss Jade finally noticing this decided to turn his fighting style up a notch.She raised her katana and slashed down vertically.Arthur's eyes widened when he saw this.Just a second ago he was sure she had slashed horizontally.

"Let's see if my current strength can withstand this attack".He had no way of evading it and honestly he didnt want to or he could have used flash step to back off.It will reach a time he would have to take on attacks so why not start now.

Arthur for now ignored the message and focused on the incoming attack.He raised his hands to cover his head or rather collect the full brunt of the attack.

*Boom*

The sword landed perfectly of Arthur's arms who's body was trembling trying to stand there without moving however the power behind the attack was quite something hence his right leg had dropped out causing his knee to hit the ground.

Miss Jade quickly drew her katana back and slashed horizontally at Arthur.Due to the full brunt of the attack he couldn't fully focuse and was hit by Miss Jade's horizontal slash sending him crushing into the walls of the dojo.

"Welcome to my dojo Arthur".Miss Jade placed the wooden katana on a shelf and walked towards Arthur to help him up."Uh-uh Miss Jade you monster,what did i ever do to you"Arthur voiced out holding onto his belly where the last strike had landed.

"You touched my boobs"Miss Jade revealed a cunning smile as he stared at Arthur who was slowly getting up.Arthur immediately straightened up upon hearing that and seeing the smile on her face he knew very well she was going to use this as an excuse to always beat him up.

"I'm glad I decided to be your student... you're very powerful"Arthur couldn't help but praise her awesome mentor."But at the end this isn't enough".Arthur could tell those words weren't meant to be said allowed but nevertheless he acted like he didn't hear anything.

He was quite exhausted after all."What are you doing here in the night?"Arthur soon found his butt slowly descending.His body couldn't help but collapse him to the floor.Arthur felt hesitant whether to tell her everything.Alas he thought about it and decided to tell her.

"That's truly terrible"Miss Jade couldn't help but sympathise for Arthur when she heard his life story and how much of a treatment he went through.Her expression was one who truly felt sorry for him.

"You can live here if you want,as your mentor how I can stand by and watch you become a homeless boy"

Arthur stared at her for a while and accepted her offer with a light smile on his face"Thank you Miss Jade".Miss Jade said nothing and gestured for him to follow her.

After passing through a certain area he was introduced to a room where he was told to sleep,that room was going to be his new home now.He was much more surprised at how much large the dojo was."Is late and I'm heading to bed,your official training will begin tomorrow so get some rest"

"Alright Miss Jade".Arthur waited a bit until Miss Jade left and opened up the system to view his rewards.In all honesty he wasn't even sure he would be able to complete that quest but thank god he did.

Arthur however knew very much Miss Jade had held back because there was no way he would have done a good job even evading a simple attack against a nascent ranked awakened.As one ranked up the more powerful that individual was close to becoming somewhat of a god.

At his current strength now Arthur could easily die from just a single attack from an ascention or a sage ranked awakened let alone a nascent soul ranked awakened.
