Crimsom Blood Arm

One thing Arthur had picked up from the systems explanation was how fared descendants such as Sen possessed innate abilities of dragons,and being able to manifest scales as some sort of a defense machinism was one of them.

"I knew you wouldn't die from that attack".

His voice although barely holding up still sounded calm to Arthur's ears.He simply nodded his head in agreement to what Sen said."We have to finish it off,we mustn't make any delays".

"You..you...have a bloodline".

"It's a skill".

Sen didn't reply afterwards,staring at him with doubtful eyes but since he didn't want him to know of it,he didn't pry further.

However one thing Arthur didn't take into account when saying this was Sen was no idiot.His background clearly indicating that.

He himself knew all too about bloodlines and how it's purity could have an impact on beasts.And what Arthur displayed was something akin to it.

What Sen also didn't know was Arthur's response wasn't far from the truth,after all based of the systems interface it was labelled as an active skill of his.

"We must find a way to kill it".

"Didn't it die?".

"No".

When Arthur had taken some paces back to see how Sen was faring,his mind had caught on to something he had failed to realise.

He did influence its action to burn itself but what if after setting it's s body ablaze it still managed to survive.Pondering on this question he decided to inform Sen to be on guard.

"You were right...he survived".

Sen said out to Arthur's hearing,his voice carrying a hint of anxiousness but Arthur could tell behind his worry was extreme excitement.

A trait he himself likes exhibiting when facing off against beings stronger or rather on par with him.For this sole reason he admired his passion for fighting.

As an awakened,one had to know the more battles you experience the more you evolve eventually becoming a greater version of your pathetic self and Arthur knew this all too well.

"HAHAHAHA!"

"HAHAHAHAH!".

It's sinister laugh echoed throughout the vicinity in which their battle had transpired.Arthurs nonchalant expression instantly dropped.A bead of sweat running down his face as he stared forward.

Sen on the other hand was just as nervous and excited as Arthur was.His left arm which had the engravings of a blue Chinese dragon glowed giving off a warmth aura.

The aura weaved through the atmosphere forming a bright blue spear.The spearhead itself was shaped like a dragon's claw,it's shaft adorned in glorious blue scales which seemed to give off the aura of a calm ocean.

It's butt capped with a glistening golden dragon's head,his hand tightly griped to the haft of the spear (the handle part of the spear).

"I won't go down without a fight"

Sen snarled furiously pointing his spear at the humanoid beast.Arthur on the other hand stood his ground,his katana boldly held in place.

"I see you survived...matters not for you will still be defeated and I'll absorb both of your bloodlines".It's evil laughter once again reaching their ears.

The beast wasn't stupid enough to not realize only under a high bloodline would it's body submit,hence it's conclusion was the same as Sen only this time Arthur would rather spend his time fighting it than retort back to him.

[Accelerate activated]

His body blurred from where he stood,dashing forward towards the humanoid beast.The beast stood there unwilling to move aside as Arthur's katana descended upong it's flesh.The beast took the slash full on and swiped at him with it's claw.

It's movement were swift and sharp,making the casual swipe of its claw look professional but Arthur's eyes were one that had been sharpened.

He sensed the danger within the casual swipe of its claw and instantly drew the blade out of its flesh dodging it's claw swipe.Sen,his dazzling dragon spear poised to kill lunged forward,the spearhead being enveloped by a blueish aura as it struck at its shoulder.

The exact area Arthur had wounded.This as a result managed to rip it's arm off,to their dismay however the humanoid beast regrew it's lost arm instantly.

The lion beast spun around,it's tail swishing behind it aimed at Arthur striking his body.Using the opening Arthur had provided,Sen lunged his spear towards the beasts heart.

Using it's superior strength grabbed the spearhead lifting the spear along with Sen up and smashing him onto the ground.By that same time Arthur had also recovered his balance and immediately sprung into action.

"Arrgh!"

Sen struggled, barely raising his body up but his will to survive didn't give up on him giving his body the help it needed to rise.

"PATHETIC!"

Flames began to erupt from underneath its body exploding out like the aftermath of a bomb drop."Watch out!"Sen yelled out,his body instinctively leaping backwards to avoid getting burned up.

Arthur realising the danger also sprung backwards,his hand however not being lucky as it was set on fire.This was what made the humanoid beast extremely vicious.

It's flames were very powerful,being able to even burn it's own body.The only advantage which had helped it so far was how it's body could regenerate instantly.An ability worth having.

To prevent the flames from spreading,Arthur winced in discomfort as his blade sliced his arm off."What now...as much as I hate to admit it,this beast is very powerful".

Sen rushed to Arthur's aid helping him regain his balance."it's a rank 6,one equivalent to the tyrant rank".

"Without an arm,what are our odds of winning?".

"Don't worry about the arm part".

[Blood Manipulation activated]

With a simple gesture aimed at the blood spilt,Arthur conjured a gleaming arm made of crimson blood,it's liquid form merging Into a razor-sharp arm that seemed to pulse with crimson aura.

"Blood Manipulation".

Sen's eyes widened at what Arthur had just done.The humanoid beast stopped in it's track,a slight frown evident of its face.

The crimson blood arm flexed and twisted,it's surface ripping like waves with Arthur staring with admiration.This was one of the many times he truly cherished having blood manipulation as his ability.

"To think he would possess the ability our great ancestor once had".

Sen griped his dragon spear calming his thoughts which seem to be on the verge of collapsing from what he had just witnessed.

Arthur turned and stared at Sen whispering a fews words,making sure only him and Sen heard."Alright..sounds perfect".

"Let's go".
