However, hearing what the person said, Travis couldn't help but shake his head in pity. From what the person said, Travis came to realise something. Martin Hale was surely using them. That guy was extremely cunning. However, it seemed that those people were all brainwashed into believing that the treasure was one way to guarantee that Martin Hale wasn't planning something. He had clearly fooled them.

"Hey Bro, what do you think are you willing to join us?", the voice came again. this time, it was much moody. The person was deliberately threatening him. Even though the person didn't do it so that it would be too obvious, Travis was able to sense the threat from his voice.

After thinking for some time, Travis decided to agree. He knew that there was no other way. From the guy's heavy voice when asking the question, Travis was sure that if he disagreed, he would be immediately punished.
