S 1 EP 3 (RINTRIV)

(He drops the ring in shock and stares at

the now empty mirror.)

ASRIEN: That couldn't have been real, I

must have just been me hallucinating.

(He takes several deep breaths as he

calms himself down.)

ASRIEN: But, I have no reason to be

hallucinating..... so, that shit was real

(He puts the ring back on and looks at it

for some seconds before pointing it at the

mirror again and sees the hologram)

RING: Hello again, Asrien

ASRIEN: This is freaky shit! What...or who

are you??

RING: I am a hologram of the downloaded

consciousness of the last user of the ring

of flight, Rintriv. I am here to guide in your

journey to become the next user of the

ring of flight and leader of the Nova-5.

ASRIEN:WHAT IN THE FUCK!!!! Backup a

little bit, what do you mean ring of flight,

Nova-5, what the fuck are you saying?!

RINTRIV: Allow me to explain. The ring

that this image of myself is being

projected from is the ring of flight. One of

the Legendary Five Rings, the most

powerful weapons in the galaxy. They are

weapons of justice and come in times of

evil to bring hope and peace. For you to

hold this ring, it means you have been

chosen to be the next wielder, and leader

of the next team of heroes to wield the

mighty power of the rings; the Nova-5. Any questions before I go on?

ASRIEN: Hell yeah I have questions. First

of all, if they are so "mighty" how come

I've never heard of them?

RINTRIV:Well..

ASRIEN:(cuts him off) Secondly, even if

you are real, you really expect me of all

people to become the leader of this

"Nova-5" shit and save the world from

great evil? Lastly, but not the least, WHY

IN THE FUCK SHOULD I EVEN BELIEVE

THIS SHIT!!! For all I know, you are just

some AI interactive program from a

museum or something.

RINTRIV: If I may speak now, the rings

have been lost for a 1000 years so of

course you haven't heard of them. And I

am telling the truth and I can prove it.

ASRIEN:Alrighty then, prove it.

RINTRIV: I already am proving it.

ASRIEN:What do you... ow! What the..!

(Asrien exclaims as he realizes he's about

4 feet in the air, and he just hit his head on

the roof.)

ASRIEN: How in the fuck , how is this

happening?!(he exclaims)

RINTRIV: If I may, the ring on your finger

is the ring of flight, which means it levitates

ASRIEN: If this is really happening, then

what you are saying.... is real, isn't it?

RINTRIV: You must find the other rings

and save your world from the great evil approaching it.

ASRIEN: Considering that I'm floating,

what you are saying must be true. But I

can't do it

RINTRIV: You have no choice, you have

been chosen....

ASRIEN: Then choose someone else.

Everything you said spells danger all

through. And though I don't have much of

a life, I still don't want to loose it fighting a

battle, someone else could easily be better

of than me.

(He removes the ring and immediately falls

on the floor. He stands up and throws the

ring through the window.)

ASRIEN: I'm sorry, I'm just not the guy

you're looking for.

AUNT MAY:(From downstairs) Asrien,

you up there? Come help your uncle and I

prepare for dinner.

ASRIEN:Coming Aunt.

(Asrien rushes downstairs.)

(Light Fades)

(The next morning, Asrien meets up with

Peter on their way to school and starts to

tell him about the ring.)

ASRIEN: So you remember that ring that

we found yesterday.

PETER: Yeah, what about it?

ASRIEN: I was trying it on yesterday and

suddenly a holgram came out and told me

it was a ring of flight or something like

that. It said there were four others like it and that I'll have to find them and save the

world from some great evil.

PETER: HAHAHAHAH, bro did you drink

last night or smoke or something like

that?

ASRIEN: I'm not joking Peter. I'm certain of

what I saw last night and, in fact, I

levitated.

PETER: Now I'm definitely sure you took

something last night. As much as I like

fantasy stuff, you know flying isn't real

without technical help

ASRIEN: I'm being damn serious right now

yo!! I would have shown you but I threw it out the

window. But you have to trust me on this

one, I know what I saw.

PETER: Let's say I do believe you, my

major concern is this, you threw out the

ring?! I thought we agreed to check if we

could get money off of it and You just

threw it out?!

ASRIEN: Yeah I'm sorry, about that but I

just couldn't keep it with me after what I

heard and saw.

PETER: I just wish you would have told me

about it before deciding to throw it away.

ASRIEN: Anyway, how did it go with Lola?

PETER: Oh... Nothing much happened we

just did some math and that was it.

(He says with a small chuckle)

ASRIEN: Why the chuckle?

PETER: She asked me to come over again today.

ASRIEN: Just don't fuck up

(Checks his watch)

ASRIEN: Let's move faster so we aren't

late.

(In School,Chemistry class)

MR MICHAEL: Alright everyone, move to

your assigned lab partners and let's begin

the days work. Your lab partners names

are on the wall behind me, check it out

and pair up

PETER: Shit, I'm with Williams. What about

you Asrien.

ASRIEN: I'm with Serena

PETER: Isn't that great. You use this to ask

her out. Doubt she'll say yes though, but

its worth trying.

ASRIEN:You are a shitty friend you know?

PETER: Gotta go, but seriously, ask her

(Asrien goes to his seat next to Serena)

SERENA: Hi, you're Asrien right?

ASRIEN: Yeah

SERENA: Pleasure to be working with you

ASRIEN: Pleasures all...

(He stutters of as he sees what thinks to

be the ring that he threw out right in front

of him, spinning and glowing)

ASRIEN: What the fuck?!

Mr Micheal: Asrien, care to share what

you've been staring at for the past 5

minutes?!

Asrien: It was...(he says pointing in the

direction of the ring only to find out

nothing is there anymore). It was right there

Mr Micheal: Asrien, if you are going to be

a nuisance I suggest you leave my class.

Asrien:(in confusion) No....sir... It won't

happen again.

SERENA: You okay, you look like you've just

seen a ghost?

Asrien: I'm fine let's just get on with the class

okay?

Serena: Okay if you say so.

(Later in the day, during gym class)

Asrien: I'm telling you Peter, it was right

there floating and glowing in the air.

Peter: Let's talk later, right now I need to

focus on this dodgeball, okay?

Asrien: Alright

Coach: (blows whistle) Alright everyone to

respective teams. When I blow the

whistle, we begin. Ready! (blows whistle)

(Asrien, trys to focus but then he sees ring

again this time it's glowing even brighter

and coming straight at him. He stands

still and shocked until....)

Asrien: owww

Coach:(blows whistle) You are out Asrien.

Get your head in the game, you were

literally just standing there.

Asrien: What..... but..it was..... coach, I

need to freshen up

(Asrien rushes to the toilet to wash his

face)

Asrien: What is happening to me?!

Voice: The ring.

Asrien: Who's there, if it's Peter I'm not

amused.

Voice: You can't run from destiny.

Asrien: I said who the fuck is it?!

Voice:This is your destiny..

(Asrien runs out of the toilet muttering to

himself and runs all the way home)

(At His house)

Aunt May: Asrien what are you....

Asrien: Can't talk right now(he says, and

rushes up to his room)

(He looks at his bed and sure enough, the

ring is right there just glowing. He puts it

on, locks his door and brings up the

hologram.)

Asrien: What the fuck are you doing to

me.

RINTRIV: You can't run from your destiny.

You have been chosen. You have to

accept your destiny, accept the power and

save your world

(Light fades)
