Getting Caught

The young man also found two or three clams the size of a fist, and a crab. Even though he had doubts about the shells and the crab that might be poisonous because they lived among the rotting garbage heaps, he still put the shells and the crab in his sack.

His face which was previously sour because of disappointment, now turned more cheerful while he continued to scavenge trash from one point to another.

After scavenging for quite a while and not finding anything else to add to his food supply, Yu decided to take a break while enjoying the food in the can he had found earlier.

And yes, the contents of the previously sealed can be lychee fruit soup. Yu smiled and immediately poured a small piece of the fruit into his mouth.

In fact, there is nothing to enjoy on this very dirty beach, the beach which was once the easternmost region of Riau Province, because all that is left is garbage and bad smells blown by the sea breeze to the mainland. However, Yu still tried to enjoy the atmosphere like a person who has the freedom to do anything in his life.

Yu also saw several stray dogs at several points along the coastline, as well as two or three of the same stray cats scavenging for food among the piles of garbage.

He thought of catching one of the wild animals to be used as food. It's just that the animals are far enough from his sitting position.

After finishing the lychee soup in the can, Yu continued to scavenge the trash in search of something he could use, especially if he could find a can of food like the lychee soup earlier.

With high hopes for finding food, Yu scavenged through the trash until he forgot about the time. He was startled when he saw the sun almost slipping on the western horizon.

Yu ended his search and decided to quickly leave there before the savages such as street thugs found his whereabouts on the beach.

With very hasty steps to catch up with the coming night, Yu even ran to get to the place he had been hiding all this time.

Certain sounds could stir up the anxiety and fear within Yu as he walked—while carrying the sack on his right shoulder.

Unbeknownst to Yu, a group of five street thugs—three boys and two girls—had spotted Yu's figure from a distance.

With the young man's presence alone, the street thugs were already interested in catching him, even more so with something he was carrying on his shoulder. Also, his hasty steps seemed to be avoiding something.

So, unnoticed by Yu, the five street thugs followed in his footsteps from the north side.

Young Yu finally reached a ruin that was the entrance to his hideout without him knowing that he had been followed. He managed to get in and immediately plunged himself into the pool in the spacious octagonal room.

While soaking, he cleaned the three large shells he had found earlier. Also, cleaning a crab, twice the size of a palm, he had broken its claws and legs. After cleaning it all up, he just put it on the edge of the pool, and he dived to cool off his body temperature.

Meanwhile, when Yu was cleaning the shells and a crab earlier, the street thugs managed to enter the secret passage that had been used by Yu.

They smirked as they made their way down to the room that used to be a food storage room. With leisurely steps as if they were the owners of the room, they checked the kitchen and found Yu's supply of drinking water.

They laughed and drank almost all of the drinking water supply. And so on, they checked other parts until they arrived at the octagonal room, just as Yu was diving in to cool off his sweltering body.

"Look at this!" said one of the girls. She crouched by the side of the pool where Yu had put three shells and a cleaned crab. "He even prepared food for us, guys!"

"This place is so cozy!" said a man as he headed straight for the sofa that Yu used as his bed. The dirty man threw his body just like that on the sofa. "Very comfortable!" he said, squirming in such a way as his four friends were grinning at the edge of the pool.

The four street thugs were waiting for Yu to appear on the surface. And yes, Yu gasped as soon as he came to the surface to find four faces grinning the same as a pack of a hungry wolves.

"H—How did you get into this secret place?!"

"So," said the second girl among them. "This is your secret place, huh?" she looked around before looking back at the face of the young man in the pool. "You're so selfish, my friend. Enjoying this cool place alone?"

"Come up!" said a man beside the second girl. "Let's talk about something," he chuckled as he tossed one of the crab legs and the toss hit Yu's forehead.

Of course, Yu didn't want to follow the thug's words. No matter what, Yu chose to stay in the pool, he even inched further to the center.

"Hey!" said the first girl to the second girl. "Did you see that?" she pointed at something in Yu's crotch.

Yu was getting more and more scared, he covered his crotch with his palms. Even though he was in the water, his genitals were visible to them because the water is pretty clear, especially to the girls who were smiling at him.

"Yeah, that is something very special!" the second girl giggled happily.

"You have a pretty big penis, mate," the first girl smiled as she winked at Yu. "Come up! We're going to have fun!"

"Get out of here! All of you!" said Yu. "Th—This, this place is mine!"

"Oh, really?" the second man among them grinned with such a cold gaze. In his hand, he held a dagger.

"Oi!" rebuked the thug who was lying on the sofa as if the place was his throne. "What are you guys doing, huh? Just pull him out of the pool!"

He then got up, leaving the sofa to go to a long carved table. The grin on his face grew wider when he found two types of firearms on the table and a machete.

"You heard what the boss just said, right?" said the second girl to her two male comrades. "Get in there! Pull him out!"

"And don't forget!" said the first girl. "The two of us will have some fun with him first."
