CHAPTER 20

　　Onyx

　　The pain that I was experiencing after shifting into a wolf was beyond any explanation. It was excruciating to the core, I wonder how I am able to tackle it. Probably because of the new powers inside of me.

　　I jumped from the fifth floor and landed on my claws. None of a single bone fractured during the jump. I had no idea what I was doing and where I was heading, but something was calling me. I was running faster, as I thought until a grey wolf passed me and blocked my way.

　　I took a right and with all energy resided in my body, I ran to the end of the woods.

　　I was exhausted from the run but at the same time, I felt alive and energetic.

　　“Enough!” Fiarra transformed back into a human and faced me. “Why did you run away?” she asked.

　　“Shift now!” she commanded like she was my boss or something.

　　I stared at her and tried to transform but I couldn't.

　　“Onyx! Transform into your human form!” sounded more like a request this time.
