CHAPTER 19

　　My chest palpated out from the rib cage as her slow breaths felt on my warm skin. She closed the distance between us and caught me in a hug. It felt like I was safe with her. I have never experienced this feeling, even with my parents.

　　I subconsciously wrapped my hands around her waist and lifted her shirt a little to expose the pale skin of her back. As my fingers brushed against the skin of her back, I felt little sparks on the affected area. I frowned and looked at her.

　　I grabbed her wrist and felt the same magnetic shock. I suspected that it happens when we touch the exposed surface of the skin.

　　Fiarra observed me determinedly like she was enjoying the show.

　　“Did you feel that?” she asked me, at last.

　　“Yes! But what was that?” I asked in surprise, “are you carrying some kind of equipment to give me a shock?” I raised my brows at her, I doubt.
