HOUSE HUNTING

The next morning after the wedding, Alfred goes out to meet with the real estate agent that had been referred by his dad also known as Mr. Delmundo so that he gets himself a villa that suits him.

The first stop the two individuals had was at a very big villa with unique architectural style toppled up with a very huge compound filled with trees and flowers on the walk way .

Inside the house is a spacious living room with a nicely decorated kitchen filled with a marble design, a home theatre room,seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms with each having a jacuzzi bath tub all made of glass, a shower as well as a very good lighting system , a swimming pool and walls all colored in white making the house so appealing to his eyes. Without wasting any more time , preparations are made in regards to payment so that the Villa could receive it's new owner and in a short time, the villa is owned by Alfred in writing and what is left is for his companion to bring in her womanly aura and make it a home.

After payments are made, Alfred thanks Mr. Delmundo for the assistance rendered and they both part ways.

At the Land's residence

Jemimah: Rise and shine my honey pie!

Diana: Mom! it is still very early for me to wake up.

Jemimah: Do you know what time it is?

Diana: What! it is sleeping time as far as am concerned.

Jemimah: You are a married woman yet you still have the audacity to be in bed when it is 10:30 am?

Diana: Mom, I am still your daughter regardless of age and status so please handle me like one.

Jemimah: By the way, yesterday I noticed something?

Diana: And what is that something that is making you all excited to talk to me about.

Jemimah: I can not believe you did not feel it, didn't you see how my future son- inlaw stared at you like you were the most expensive treasure he had picked.

Diana: Mom, that is none of my business whether he sees or he does not I still surely believe this is not going to work.

Jemimah: Okay , I get it ,you do not have to keep reminding me about the scenario.By the way when do you intend to do a house hunt for your future home with your husband?

Diana: Mom, I have already told you I do not care about this marriage so what is the essence of hunting for a house then, before I know it you will be telling me of how am supposed to treat him and feed him like a baby and still also tell me to bathe him as well since he can not scrub his back quite well.

Jemimah: How devious you sound right now my darling.

Diana: Okay mom ,to be honest with you, right now ,I will not be leaving your house any sooner so bear with your stinky daughter for a while.

Jemimah: No, no dear are you forgetting something?

Diana: What is that exactly?

Jemimah: I heard you saying two days back that you were moving out and remember this was supposed to happen yesterday but fortunately it was your wedding so before we chase you out please make sure tomorrow finds you out of our home already.

Diana: Why are you doing this mum?

Jemimah: Not me but you, remember you said this yourself so you should own up already to the consequences of your actions.

Diana: Fine ,let me start to pack up so I leave your space.

Jemimah: And do not forget to let your husband know about your whereabouts.

Diana: Whatever!

As the chit chat between Jemimah and her daughter is still going on, Diana's s phone starts ringing and on seeing on the screen it is a new number so reluctantly she picks the phone call right infront of her mum.

Diana: Hello! whose this?

Caller: Alfred White.

Diana:How did you get my number?

Caller : Your father gave it to me few minutes ago.

Diana: That old swine can never keep anything secret?

Caller: What era are you in lady, people can always find any person's number if they want ,there is nothing private about it.

Diana: So tell me what is the name of your problem.

Caller: Is this number of yours on Whatsapp?

Diana: Yes.

Caller: I am sending you the pictures of the villa we are to live in me and you of course if you wish it so you can see.

Diana: Okay, I will check and see, by the way is that number you are sending the photographs yours or it is borrowed?

Caller: No, no please the number is for your mother you will see .

Diana : So when are you picking me Incase I confirm am comfortable with it.

Caller : Just let me know and I will send the driver to pick you.

Diana: Cool.

The conversation on phone is done and Diana gladly tells her mum, your prayers have been answered, because I am moving into my own house soon and I think that today night will be my first day out of the Land's mansion into my own house.

Diana's mother is elated about that fact and so she tells her daughter to freshen up ,come take breakfast and start parking.

After breakfast, Alexa decides to check on her friend to just make sure she is fine since she has been so quiet and absent in her life and to her shock, Diana opens up about her marriage to Alfred to Alexa and tells her that it had already occurred yesterday but Alexa is disappointed because she was not invited by her friend to attend such a beautiful ceremony with her best friend however her friend assures her that she would not want her to be part of a scam since she is the truest person she has had in her life but promises that if ever there comes a period when she is in love and is to get married to the love of her life, she is to be her maid of honor . Still filling Alexa with gossip, she tells her that today evening she will be leaving the Land's mansion to go stay with her forced husband so that her name is cleared from the scandal that had just happened recently.

So while in the room, Alexa helps her friend park up her belongings and by the time they are finished, the clothes are all organized in five suitcases plus one extra suitcase containing makeup and one containing all of Diana's shoes making them a total of seven suitcases.

After all is done, Diana dials Alfred's number and assures him how she has seen the photos of the house and says that because of his selection she is excited to declare that she is ready so he should send over the driver to pick her up or better him but also hesitantly suggests that if he has a slightly raised car it would be the best option to bring along to pick her up as these luxurious cars might not be the best choice to carry her luggage since it is heavy and quite a lot.

Alfred listens to what she says and says he will be there in a bit .

Diana's suitcases are moved by the butler to the living room from the second floor where her room is and then Diana gives her father a call since he is for a business meeting and tells him that she is moving in with Alfred and he is soon to arrive and the essence of the call is to let him know about her departure as a sign of respect to her father and all said and done daughter and father say their good byes and Diana continues to chit chat with her friend when a car is heard running along the drive way and out of curiosity Alexa chooses to take at least a peep to see who is her friend's husband and what is he driving and to her eyes satisfaction she sees a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon parking and a very tall and handsome man all dressed in Levi straus blue jeans couples with a polo Ralph Lauren White shirt and an Air jordan white Oreo sneaker all looking dashing as he saunters to the house. After such a beautiful view, Alexa grabs her friend's hand and tells her oh my friend ,where did you meet this God looking like male from, he is definitely out of everyone' s league except you and she also tells her how she approves of this new brother in law but all this is being said in a whisper between the two girls.

At the entrance stands Alfred White he can not believe his eyeswith all the goods he is supposed to take to his home ,but before he starts with any of his ugly comments, he spots Jemimah coming from the kitchen and bows his head to greet her and also pecks her hand as a sign of respect. Jemimah is impressed , from what she sees , she is sure this young man will help her teach her daughter some manners. Son inlaw, she says ,please make your self comfortable.But Alfred politely rejects as he says he is in a hurry to take his wife before it is too dark in the night. With this said,Diana uses this opportunity to introduce Alexa to her husband and on that note everything is put in the car and the two people head out for their new home leaving behind an emotional Alexa cleaning tears as just now Alexa has just realized that she is no longer going to be her best friend's only shoulder to cry on because right now there is already someone who might even replace her position in Diana's heart.
